Is that experience? Considering this one.

I have had cashback contracts with O2 for many years now and have to say the last one has been very good. They pay pretty quickly and there is no one month limit to get your bill back to them.

always risky they will do their best to not pay, personal prefernece is upfront money off each month on the bill, may be a couple of £ more but time saved lack of risk worth it

if you are happy with the redemption road , dont moan when you miss a date and you loose out, thats the risk

nokia 1800 are being given away at moment so compare this to a sim only option and yes its a very basic phone! (£25 a month for 300 min having a larf)

Was the contract with e2save/O2 if you don't mind me asking. Am looking for a new deal at the moment.

It was originally, think it is now Carphone Warehouse/O2 but they are all the same company so would expect the same service...

The redemption has nothing to do with the carrier, it's from the retailer ie e2save

Yes, you get billed the full amount by O2, then send the bill to the retailer. I sent mine second class post to Phones4u (plenty of time to re-send by recorded if they don't acknowledge- I think they all give you two months now) and got a check right away. That's Phones4u. You may have a different experience with e2save. I have another contract with mobiles.co.uk and Orange where I download my bill as a file from Orange and email it to mobiles.co.uk. They acknowledge right away and post a cheque in a few days.

You can certainly cock it up and not get paid, but it isn't really difficult to do it right. Just be organised about it.

So what happens if E2SAVE go under?
Anyone stupid enough taking out this deal deserves to lose everything.

That's what I thought when I took the first of several contracts out with them around 7 or 8 years ago - they didn't !!
