what proof do you need to provide that you are a business?

When I bought my first contract with them there was a few hours where they were 'verifying' my business status, however they never asked for anything and called me to let me know it had been accepted. FYI I also had another O2 consumer contract and they've transferred that over to business now and given me the same deal, so I got 2 iphone 6's out of it.

This is only a good deal if I'm an O2 business user whos contract is about to run out and I'm speaking to detentions, right?

Yes you will need to be a current business customer and out of contract (I've been out of contract for a while now). I posted this deal to show that the deals are out there and it's worth calling to see what's offered (even if you're not on business)

I just finished my contract with O2 and they didn't provide me with anything

You are so lucky to get a deal

OP - Do you make loads of non-inclusive calls (like calls overseas)? It seems they really wanted to keep your custom - I doubt many others will get this deal.

No I'm just an average user. I never pay extra for non-inclusive minutes (the odd 0845 here and there). The last time I called them when my previous contract ran out the guy told me he could do literally anything to keep me as a customer, which I thought was strange as I'd never spent much with them. At the time I was coming out of a contract for £46 per month for 2 iPhone 3GS's. He gave me a sim only deal for £7 per month.
