O2 are selling their cocoon instore at a price of £59.99 for this week only apparently.

If you trade in an old phone with a battery and charger they'll knock TWENTY off the price.

I'm downgrading but I fell for the Cocoon as soon as I saw it :( and with 2gb onboard memory it's cheaper than buying an mp3 player too :)

There may be other phones on special offer too, ring your store to find out :)

After this week it apparently goes back up to 79.99. I'm not entirely sure when the offer finishes and I can't get back through to my store to check - apologies!

Don't forget to tell them you're already an 02 customer if you are cos you get some more off it!

make sure you take in the oldest piece of junk phone you can find for the trade in, as long as it has an iemi number on it and it has the battery, dont even need the charger.

also if your an existing o2 customer ask how much you will get off for upgrading, i recently got £21 off a phone from all the top ups ive spent

would that be locked to o2 ?

Thanks :)

I've updated the original post, for buying the cocoon and handing in an old phone I got £20 off it rather than just the 10! Well pleased :)

Do they turn on the phone aswell? Because I got a couple of faulty phones which don't turn on.

They didn't here, they just took it from me - make sure you have the charger too :)

My sister has two rubbish phones, one lobster and one VK4000 - both possibly made of melted down walker's crisps packets.....

Both really turd - will they accept these or do they have to be a major brand ?

I'm sure my two old phones are worth more then £20 each - Sony Ericsson K750i and Nokia 6230 - both boxed & complete with extras. If not I'll take one of those

dont forget that you have to buy 10 pounds of top up so really its 49.99
i bought one of these last week for 69.99 and its brill(traded in my old o2 jet phone for 20 pounds and that was knocked of the retail price of 79.99.then a payg card for a tenner took it to 69.99)

highly reccomend it ( bit gutted now its cheaper but considering it was 250 in august last year go for it)

This airtime rule is a bit of a ball ache. I've only just topped up. Just my luck.

Suppose I'd be topping up in the future anyway - so no loss - just inconvenient...

You don't have to top up, I didn't, I just gave the details of my number and they said destroy the sim inside and ring 02 so they'll send the wap et al settings to the sim.

Hull-Tommo - any phone will do so long as it has a charger and a battery I believe. No matter how old it is - I traded a sagem mx-y2 I think it was - you only get £20 off it - and you can only trade one phone in per phone you buy.

The phone needs to have an iemi number on or they wont take it, also charger is not needed as all i took in was a phone with battery in

Yeah, just rang O2 shop and they had one left - they put it to one side for me and said I can get it tomorrow. Also since I'm an existing customer I don't need to top up. £39.99 in total

O2 shop are legends !

My mam gave me an old Nokia with rubber buttons to trade it against - don't even think it has a camera...:whistling:
