#2
how did you find this out?
#3
I wonder why????:giggle:
Still it's a hot deal all the same:)
#4
awesome!
#5
Again?

Have they added a proper internet radio app yet, or is it still just UK internet radio via Pure Lounge?
#6
Someone has advised me at o2 that they are doing the offer on these again.
#7
any good?
#8
I'll be picking up another. They are excellent bit of kit

Mine's running Ubuntu right now - this a big fat bargain at £50
#10
Cool - I missed the last one, might have a go with this. Quick search shows people able to install Ubuntu etc.

EDIT: danrus, nice one! Just watched a YouTube movie of someone running Google Chrome ... also noticed people have Android running (albeit very limited functionality). A steal for £50.

EDIT 2: Link shows it's £50 NOW!
#11
I want one, trouble is I have no idea why.
#13
I'll be the first - has this got a battery??!! :w00t:

Fantastic bit of kit. Heat added.

Well I have aradio that does most of what this does for free.
And a TV to watch Vids & photo's on.
MY texts are 10p each and it'll take a L o o o o ng time to rake up £50 worth to pay for this.

Don't see the point of it.

WHAT else can it do? and what does it cost on top of the outlay (£50.00)

PLUS it's Fugly!

Price already reduced on line. Fill yer boots.
#17

If you know how to customise it, you can do a lot with it.

Hacked to as a home automation controller, controller security cams, torrents, games and home lighting.

#23

#24
ascen

#25
what is Ubuntu i have just got a joggler
#26
Bargain, Bought mine last time, tempted again. Ubuntu and PMJ make the Joggler worth a lot more

Turn it into a fully working computer :D happy days
#27
The novelties worn off with ubuntu netbook remix on the joggler for me thinking of using it as a carputer.
#28
Ubuntu is an open source operating system, it has a new version every 6 months. Lucid Lynx is the most recent version, and in October Maverick Meerkat is being released.

We got a Joggler last time, I adore it! It's also useful as a photo frame, and looks a lot nicer than the standard £50 digital frames IMO.
#29
Hummed and hawed about getting one last time it was on offer. Have all the issues with the ubuntu install been sorted, touchscreen , sound etc?
#30
yep, ubuntu run perfectly now
#31
Tempted. Love gadgets.

Do the modifications screw up the operating of the Joggler as intended. I.e. sending up to 50 texts for free per month?

duh! I've only just forked out for a Kodak Vid camera that I didn't think I needed till I came on here.

NOW THIS!!!!!!!!!

According to http://yourfamily.o2.co.uk/o2familyjoggler/
Your O2 Joggler can hold up to 1 GB, or around 250 pictures
#33
Good Spot
Heat & rep added

Ordered one! :)
#34
This Is Available Nowwwwwwww Never Mind Tomorrow Its On Nowwwwww
#35
3000 degrees + coming at ya
#36
Can you control your PC through the O2 Joggler?

And can you install windows software such as games, music production apps...
#37
Don't buy one unless you're planning to install some other OS on it - the software on it is astoundingly bad. I can't believe they were originally charging £150 for this.

£50 for the spec though is a good deal.
#38
Fantastic piece of kit as it is, worth it for the internet radio alone. Awesome piece of kit with ubuntu/PMJ installed, watching BBC channels/Stock updates/Weather/Traffic... etc...
.
Ordered 2, thanks OP!
#39
ipad killer ;)
#40
please can someone tell me how to install ubuntu as there is not much on the net.
