O2 PAYG Samsung D900i Pink Free Benefit Makeup deal

When my wife was buying the D9001 on Monday at an O2 store she was surprised to find out that the pink version comes with a luxury five item Benefit make-upa pack including eye shadows, tinted moisturiser, mascara, bronzer and lip pencils plus a voucher for a free make over at a Benefit Bar, as well as a 15% off voucher for Benefit's online shop and retail stores.

When the guy told me it was worth £99 I laughed but my wife snapped it up then took me to boots where we priced some of the items.

The phone itself is £129.99. We traded in an old handset and got £20 off and then, because we are existing O2 PAYG customers, we just upgraded instead of taking the sim card which comes with the phone. That got another £8 off so if you take away the £99 for the make up the phone cost £3 :-)

PS, its my first post, thought it best to stop leaching and start participating :-)

Hi, you say you got £20 off for trading an old phone, what kind was it, does the price depend on the phone or is it a standard price.

And because you got £8 off for keeping your own sim, if that standard if you already have an O2 sim, or is that based on how much you have topped up in the last year or so.

Thank-you

It isn't expired. You can get it with "pay as you go", I don't think I can do a direct link to the phone, as you have to select a pay as you go tariff first. So select your "pay as you go tariff"
http://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffs/Pay_and_Go
And then it shows you the phones including this one with a benefit free gift.

If you go via Quidco, to find it

1. On the home page on the left hand side, there is a list in blue, under Tariff select "Pay & Go" then select the Pay & Go tariff you want & you will see the phone with the benefit offer.

I hope that helps

Gosh, I'm going mad, I really thought this morning you could get the free make-up with the pay & go phone, but now it just says "free Benefit leaflet" whatever that is. I really must be going mad

Hey guys,

I got it at the O2 store in the Braehead shopping centre in Glasgow. It did come with a PAYG D900i and I can recommend the phone as I have it in another colour. As far as I know the £20 trade in is not dependant on the handset as I traded a 7 year old Ericsson handset which was about the size of a small family car.

The phone itself has a 3mp camera, mp3 player, expandable memory, A2DP (means you can listen to music via a bluetooth stereo headset, the have a good one on Play for £18 http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/3257208/Sony-DR-BT10CX-Bluetooth-Wireless-Stereo-Headphones/Product.html) and, after a conversation with Samsung, I had it confirmed to me that it can be used as a usb flash drive.

One word of warning, you can only have a max of 120 songs ready to be played on the mp3 player at any one time and it doesnt support WMA formats.

The deal is still going so ignoe the expired heading. Happy shopping.

PS, if they refuse you teh gift on PAYG ask for the manager and blag it. If he says know you could always try asking him why the Braehead store is doing it.

The only word
