If you're with 02, it's now time to claim your reward. Text REWARD to 50202 for PAYG or call 2211 free for Pay monthly. Check out link below for more info on monthly customers:
http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/paymonthly/o2treats

What PAYG customers get:
You get 10 percent back on all your Top-Ups every three months. The more you top up, the more you get back. For example, if you top up £50 over October, November and December, you'll get £5 free calltime (10% of £50) to spend in January.

If you haven't already done so, to join text REWARD to 50202 (free) and start earning today. 02 will send you a text message that confirms you have joined the programme.

Every time you Top-Up, you'll be earning 10 percent back. 02 will text you to tell you how much free calltime you've built up and how to claim it at the end of the quarter.

Enjoy........

What were the other options you Pay Monthly people got? I might check this out actually as my last O2 bill was shocking (I was in the states!) so it might make me feel a bit better post - Xmas :)
#7
Just bare in mind if you're spending more than £15 a month with you probably shoudlnt be on O2 Pay as You Go! Try one of the SIM only deals for £10/£12 a month or at least take a look at Asda Mobile.

If you are on pay monthly you can get you o2 treats by dialling 2211 from you handset and choose extra minutes or texts free for 3 monnths. Or if you are on an old tariff it is work calling them up and moving on to a newer tariff, then you can add a free bolt on. The bolt ons you can choose from are;

unlimited o2 to o2 calls
unlimited texts
unlimited weekend calls (sat/sun)
unlimted landline calls
200 extra free minutes
unlimited web browsing

Worth looking into if you are on an old plan, it wouldnt cost you any extra or change the length of the contract or anything so you would be getting something for nothing!

Hmm, I'm on 02 Simply 15. Wonder if there's a better tariff now (web browsing would be nice considering the handset is an iPhone).

theres no pint having an iPhone with out the web bolt on to be honest. You can either up your tariff to get it free (I think its free on the £20 SIMO) or you can pay an extra £7.50 a month for the bolt on. Call them and ask them whats the best way to get it on your account.

It's worth pointing out that if you have any friends who work for O2 then they can get you a discount of about 30% for the life of the contract. My last monthly bill for the same tariff mentioned above was £13.69! Which is just awesome.

Yeah it's a bargain, about a year ago O2 changed my tariff without notification, so they then put me on 'simplicity' as a good will gesture and threw just about everything in with it. I make a lot of business calls so the unlimited landline calls comes in very handy too

Was already on a contract with phone, O2 messed the contract up so took me off contract so just a 30 day tie in. I just buy a new phone as and when I need one now as still works out cheaper for me overall

Yes you are on an old tariff as i'm guessing you get rollover minutes (they do not offer rollover now). I used to be on similar.

with out knowing the name of the tariff I couldnt confirm 100% wether its old or not but from what you have said I *think* it could be an old one. You need to be on what o2 call a "Q1 08 " tariff. Basically when all the new tariff were release in January 08 they all came with free bolt ons so if you are already 18 months in your contract then you wont be on a Q1 08.

call them up and ask them what available for you on the Q1 08's as you would like a free bolt on. They can also change the run date so that your bolt on is available from midnight tonight too, instead of your next bill date. Dont ever change a tariff part way through the month though, always wait until your next bill date.

Will this work if you are on o2 via the carphone warehouse?

Just wondering as everything seems to have to go through cpw.

Yes, should be able to as your tariff is technically an O2 tariff.

Hey, you seem to know a lot about this. I'm on a £30 a month package with o2 that started in January 08. I'd love to have free internet browsing but I'm not sure how to go about asking them about a bolt on. Am I entitled to this for free? Also do you know the number I should call?

Thanks a lot :)

voted cold - been with them for nearly 2 years and got a text saying i am not eligible for anything ... poo to that.
#35
I'm on an 18 month tariff but only £30 a month :-(

Contract runs out in June I believe
#36
Amazing value - just got an extra 20 mins and am only on a £10 a month sim only contract which I only started two months ago!
#37
I have an iPhone 3G on the £30/month contract and got a text from O2 a couple of months ago saying that I had earned a Treat because I had been with them from 3 months.

I could choose from 20 anytime minutes, 50? texts, or some number of offpeak minutes.

I chose the first option so my included minutes has gone from 75 to 95 minutes/month. Yay.

I pay monthly on a contract, 400 mins, and when I phoned about a bolt on they said it was £7.50 a month, am I missing something here?!!
#40
im on a cpw-O2 deal. I get 400minXnetwork, 200mins are via a bolt on which they gave me at the start of the contract.

Would I be able to get any more add-ons?
