It's a good deal if you stay within your allowance and don't call abroad. For that it's hot.

And don't forgat to add your 8mb broadband for £7.50 per month to your phone contract. At the moment it's the best broadband service for the money.
#2
the broadband is only 7.50 a month if you live in an unbundled area tho
#3
Not a bad deal, heat added
#4
Got this for my daughter, saving me a fortune!!!
#5
links not working ?
#6
#7
Possible quidco on this too??
#8
£23.33 cashback via quidco :)
#9
Only available until 31st January 2008

Offers a bit old !!!!

Personally I would go for the next one up at £14.69 per month. This gives you unlimited o2 - o2 calls which is worth it as loads of people are now on o2. I was tempted to change to the £9.79/month one but I think the unlimited calls feature is worth the extra few quid, so I'm sticking with my original package. Been on it about two years now and with the £7.50 broadband it is a great deal.
#11
Nice one garbage i have a pay as u go sim an pay £10 a month anyway so bloody good deal 4 me TAAAAA
#12
Hot from me.
#13
Sounds good I still use the old genie card which gives you 300 texts but still have to top up £10 a month so this is better! I don't even use that many tho so no need :(
#14
Also so don't forget some of the extra features no really mentioned on the page!

Pictures messages come out of your txt messages 4 txt = 1 MMS.
Video calls come out of your voice allowance 1voice = 1 video call.
Free messages from abroad to UK, comes out of you txt message allowance 4 txt = 1 txt abroad.

Also don't forget O2 treats 2211, this inly applies after 1 month, you can get extra minutes or txt messages. You can do this every once a month!

Hope that helps a few people making a decision.
#15
I'm on the £20 a month 600 mins + 1000 texts + free WAP. Can't beat it.

Been on it a few months but my Quidco seems to have disapeared, could have sworn it tracked but it's not there now so I'm gonna have to chase it.
#16
you will get quidco if you keep this contract for at least 3 months!!!
#17
Mmm this is tempting, I get 600min and 600txt's for the same price on my O2 (BT Genie) contract which i've had from 2000. However not cross network mins, and could really do with them. Most of the folks i call are on O2 so the dearer contract might work out good... just can't decide.
banned#18
Not as good as my three contract with 500 mins and text messages for £9.79 a month and a new phone..

Is it one month contract?

Excuse my complete ignorance about anything to do with technology! I bought the PAYG LG Viewty from the Littlewoods deal the other day which is on O2 - can I get this sim to go in it?

yep
#22
Hot. Was tempted to get this the other week. However I never make calls and my pay as you go sim gives me £200 free texts for a tenner (so I get 300 for a tenner). And I can usually make that last 5 - 6 weeks.
#23
UK text message 11.7p
UK picture/video message 24.5p
UK voice calls 19.6p/min

:o

Wow that is pretty pricey if you're not careful. Are the 150 minutes cross network to mobiles etc?

Unless you tend to make lots of short calls and cross network it's not much cheaper than pay as you go (25p/min first 3 minutes then 5p a min thereafter for the day)

This looks good - I would like to select the Web Bolt On but I have 2 questions, maybe an existing user could help with:-

1)RE The Wi-Fi - If I connected to the Wi-Fi in my house to via my mobile and browsed the internet would I incur a charge over and above my Web Bolt on £7.50 pm?

2)My phone can access my web based email (gmail) and forward my new messages to my phone, I take it that this would be deemed part of the web bolt on service?

Hot by the way...!

"UK calls to 07744/07755 numbers 24.5p/min"
It seems to be quite confousing.

"UK video calls Same as voice calls"
That's a good deal, other network charge 50p/min usually.

But I remember T-mobile get Solo 15 for £15.00 only (30 days contract).

#26
Also, do anyone know how long will we need to stay on the contract to get cashback??? 3months? or longer?

are you sure one voice call is one video call? if so i am leaving my current place NOW

Yes been using it since I got my sim card last august, was also mention in the O2 £20 simplicity thread.
To be honest i rarely use it, as most time network not available to make a 3G video call or the other person is not on a 3G network to receive it, but when it works it's cool, definitely funny when you are out in about and want to have laugh with your mates. ;)

I am currently on the VIRGIN MOBILE LIBERTY SIM paying £10 amonth for 300 minutes and 300 txt on a 30 day contract also I can browse the internet for 30p a day which I think is much better deal than this for me anyway YES its if £15 a month usualy but If you have a TV package with Virgin Media you can get it for £10 amonth!

Free voice mail is included
I am on vrigin mobile whiche uses T-Mobiles network (and T mobile and Three share there 3G masts) so you get good 3G coverage.

Also Virgin Mobile regulary have the best customer service.
I can also use bluetooth to lnik my mobile (Nokia E65) to my laptop to surf the internet using it :D

Im not sure if they still do it though best to phone them.

The ethernet port or our laptop totally stuffed up a couple of months ago and is now un-usable (we previously had the modem connected via ethernet).

So I connected my phone up to the laptop USB port and used it every night for for about a month until we got a wireless router. I wasn't charged a penny extra by O2.

Virgin Customer Service is a joke and silly hustlers wasting you time talking to them lol
Why would you want to get Virgin Media for £10 a month for upto 2mb when o2 is £7.50 a month for upto 8mb and no 3 strike internet policy :whistling:
#33
I have been on Simplicity with 02 for the last year at least and ive been really impressed with it. I have just downgraded from the £15 to the £10 as going by my bills i don't use my phone enough to warrent the extra, and sinces its a 30 day contract you can just upgrade it if and when.

I am just annoyed i couldnt downgrade my current tariff through the website to get the quidco!!
#34
Only available until 31st January 2008
#35
I'm currently on the TextAnyTime tarrif. Top up £10 a month and get 300 messages free and 1MB of data.

This deal sounds better because of the extra minutes!
#36
im on O2 contract i get:

150 mins anytime any network
300 text
per month for only
£5 per month

when you have been their customers for a few years you can get this offer.

better offer then this is my other sim 3g:
3000 mins to any 3g number
500 mins anytime any network
for £8 per month

for both offers you dont get a phone, you can but then you have to pay more

Should be 2009?
#38
Does anyone know if you sign up on-line, whether you can enter a PAC code to tranfer your old number, or whether you have to order the sim first and then phone up customer services once you have it to give your PAC code and have the number transfered?
#39
Voted warm. Vodafone as you mentioned do £10/month with 100 mins and 500 texts...I'm on it. Vodafone themselves are all over the place as a network (don't bother trying to find out your remaining allowance, check your past months bill or anything) but the deal itself is just what I need. (Although last month I sent 800 texts haha).
#40
I've recently opted for the Orange Dolphin 15 monthly contract. 200 Mins, Unlimited Texts but am still waiting for my Sim card. I'd actually applied for the Sim online before NY but the one I was sent was PAYG so I'd advise setting it all up on the phone with Orange if you opt for their £14.67 a month deal.
