Guys Quidco have changed the deal by the looks of things. Initially the deal was £100 cashback on the £10/month tariff but this has been reduced to £50. I, like most other people who have seen the deal, have taken out the contract and would hope that both QUIDCO and O2 honour the £100 that was stated at the start. HOWEVER those who aren't happy getting £50 and paying £5.83/month for this deal are recommended to cancel their newly ordered sims incase they don't honour the initially stated cashback of £100.

The terms have now been changed to £100 cashback for contracts of £20+/month on simplicity tariffs and £50 for those under £20/month.

My contract is up for renewal and I was looking to switch to the Vodafone deal when I stumbled past the O2 deal on Quidco. They have by the looks of things introduced a new contract on Simplicity SIM ONLY 12 Month Tariff which is £10/month and offers 300 minutes (mobiles/landline), Unlimited Texts and as a Bolt On allows you to choose either Unlimited O2-O2 calls or Landline Calls.

Quidco are offering £50 CASHBACK on SIMPLICITY tariff below £20/month and £100 for those above £20/month.

This for the 12 Month £10 tariff would make it £120-50=£70/12=£5.83/month for 300 Minutes, Unlimited Texts & Landline Calls/O2-O2 calls. Amazing for any student/child/adult who doesn't use calls much, if family is on O2 or uses texts only.

QUIDCO CASHBACK ENDS ON SUNDAY SO BE QUICK!

I know some people had problems with this but I got a very good deal last year and my cashback paid out. As long as you clear your cookies & cache before you log into quidco, you should be fine. If it doesn't show up within a couple of days, just cancel the contract and you have lost nothing.

For those of you who are on O2 with the deal expiring, there is a way of retaining your number aswell. PM me if you want info on it.

AAAND it's only a 12 month contract so if you aren't happy, you aren't stuck with it for 2 years. AAAAAND O2 will donate £5 to the It's Your Community awards programme for every online simplicity connection. Apparantly! So it really would be rude not to.....!

You can select simplicity for smart phones - 12months @ £15p/m which gives unlimited data as the bolt on. This has the iPhone SIM in it so for those who are needing to renew iPhone contracts without getting a new phone, get this!
- binz_81

Don't forget, if you stick with it (after 14 day cooling period) to claim your huge £5 M&S voucher!

Has it been posted before? I couldn't see it anywhere hence why I posted it. I thought it was a new tariff that they introduced because I couldn't find a £10 tariff! The other deals are for the higher tariffs.
#10
Thanks for the info, will look into it.

Heat from me - can give notice in 3 weeks though.

heat from me xx

This is quite good for the cashback amount - when I looked around in January they were only offering £23 cashback for 12 month SIM only so its jumped up a lot. I'd have taken it if it had been £100 then but ended up going to Vodaphone who were offering £70. Good find - heat from me.
#14
Thanks for this, heat added. Can you tell me where you can add the unlimited internet? x

I have been looking at deals for the 9 months I've been back in the UK and they all come around every couple of months. Some never seem to go away. There are always deals on the go and a month or two and you'll get one on the network you want.
#21
nice deal
does that come with free bolt on?
#22
Just found this -
If you're a new customer joining O2 from another network and want to keep your number, or an existing O2 customer and want to move your number between O2 Pay & Go and O2 Pay Monthly, it's really easy to transfer. And if you are moving your number from O2 Pay & Go to Pay Monthly, we'll even give you a £5 Marks & Spencer voucher if you complete the process online. Just visit o2.co.uk/keepmynumber and we'll tell you what happens next. Offer ends 15th March 2010.

I called to cancel but instead change my number to PAYG so I know I wont loose it. That means when I get the new sim I can change the PAYG number to it online and get 5 pound MandS voucher.

Bargain!!

Just got hold of it :)

Im on Orange and get no reception in my house. This will do so well :D
#24
where do you add the internet bolt on? i can't see it in the list after i add this to my basket? :?

"QUIDCO CASHBACK ENDS TONIGHT SO BE CAREFUL!"

Are you sure it does not end 28th Feb 2010?
Qudico says 3 days.

Look this ---- cash back is only avaible for £20 tariff. Did you get this on £10 Tariff ?

O2 Simplicity - £100 cashback on all 12 month sim only contracts. Quidco exclusive. What you get: 800mins + 1600 texts for £20 per month, minus £100 Quidco cashback, equates to only £11.66 per month!

"£100 cashback on all 12 month sim only contract."

look at the extra charges, if you send a lot off MMS or texts abroad then you are better off staying on an older contract as they come out of allowance, on the new tarrif it will cost you 20p per MMS
#37
I don;t see where it says when the Quidco ends. Can somebody please clarify.

i've found it ... when you go into simplicity you need to change to 12 months for smart phones to add the internet bolt on... although you don't get the unlimited landline or O2-O2 calls :-(
#39
If you get two of this deal would you get £100 cashback on each ?
