does anybody know if this works if you upgrade from a 1 month contract to the 12 month?
#2
im hoping someone could answer that too and how does it work, do you still have to contact them to get a pac code if you want to keep the same number?
#3

Yes. Just make a new order (in a new account) and they will send you a new sim. When the new sim comes ring customer services and they’ll port the number over. You don't need a pac code to do this as you're porting within the same network.

Ringing customer services will not affect the cashback either.

Dunno what all this is about.

I moved over from a 1 month simplicity to a 12 month just last week with O2. Same tariff but better financially. They do it straightaway over the phone. No nonsense, no new accounts / numbers or anything like that.

But then you wouldn't get the cashback. (edit: as above people beat me to saying!)

I did this deal about 8 months ago, although I'm capped at 1600 texts (barely use half!) but get 800 mins and unlimited web for £20 a month minus the cashback making it roughly £12.50 a month. Been excellent for my iphone!

I never even thought to get the quidco, thought there would be something in the T&Cs about new customers only + I've been with them a number of years now and built up some loyalty. I got an extra bolt on for nothing though which I'm happy with.

is there anything in the terms that would likely mean your quidco wouldnt be paid,

do you have to be a new customer,

I've never known anybody not to be paid out before. I've been paid three times by Quidco from O2 for different contracts and so have many others.

Pay out time is normally 2 months.

£5.83 (includes cashback) for unlimited landline calls, unlimited texts and 300 mobile calls seems like a heck of a deal
#14
Dear Friends,Anyone know of a deal with Unlimited internet and email + unlimited landline + atleast 500 local minutes with HTC Desire or Blackberry Bold phone ? I am ready to pay 25 Pounds per month
#15
I changed from a 30 day contract to a 12 month sim only contract and at the time the quidco was £200 - this has just been validated. I ordered a new contract via quidco, when I got the sim, I called them up and they moved my existing number to the new sim, took less than 24 hours. They tried ,however, at first to cancel my new contract and just move my existing number to a 12 month contract. Once I said that I went via a cashback site, they moved my number to the new contract so that I didnt loose the cashback.

I never received my cash back from Quidco, was really annoyed when I contacted them later to submit a earnings request only to find out that it was too late.

I am on O2 PAYG and would like to have the same deal as yours. Will quidco still track if I go through M&S voucher link you have provided as I would like to port my O2 PAYG no.
I have heard quidco get void if you use any other links. not sure though.

I've only had good experiences with O2 Cashback.

I ordered an O2 simplicity deal last year (at the time the orange terms changed) and I decided to cancel the O2 one (within the 14 day period) as I was experiencing problems with cancelling my Orange contract. Finally Orange was cancelled so I signed up for a new O2 contract (which I have at the moment).

Within a couple of month I had received notification that both transactions had tracked and been verified, so I had received £200 instead of the £100 which I was expecting!!

I too am on an o2 monthly contract waiting for this, do I have to give a months notice for my current monthly contract? thanks :)
#22
bit of a quidco noob, how long does it take to see if has tracked?
#23
o2 have become the biggest con artists out. They seem to make things up as they go along. After well over 10 years with o2, I'm off when my current contract is up.

This is TOo Hot, im thinking of taking the £10/ Month simplicity which works out £120 n possible £50 cashback so its £70. What i wanted to know is that i have £40 on my pay n go sim so will that be credited to my account if i keep my number? Will that be £30 for the whole contract after after getting cashback and the credit i have on my sim right now?
#25

not too sure about this but I know on orange they can use some of the payg credit towards the purchase of a new handset ..found this out when I almost got the htc desire payg ..for £280 ..would have had the price brought down a further £50 (using my already topped credit) to £230

I can vouch for the Quidco, got it for the missus the last time this came up, and it's been received (£100), and will be hitting my bank account at the end of this month :) LOVE IT!

on the website, cant seem to pick a tarrif with free internet bolton for 20 quid..

can anyone help??? or point me in the right direction!!
#32
Not 100% sure here but think o2 changed their T&C for sim contracts only around about Feb... since then the options only seem to be free landline - landline or free o2 - o2.
I'm on £20 rolling monthly contract with 600 mins. 1000 txts, then either free o2 to 02 OR free web.... if I change I won't be able to get the option of having free web back again from what I gather.

Quidco didn't track for me when I tried this offer last September. I raised a query, and it took a few months but O2 did pay up and I got the £100 cashback, so all-in-all an amazing deal.

You are entitled to claim both the cashback and M&S voucher. You don't actually use the M&S / port your number link until after you've ordered the deal and received the sim.

I have an email from O2 which confirms you can claim both the cashback and the M&S voucher if that helps

Your existing £40 credit will transfer to your new contract, after you port over the number, and the amount will be knocked off your bill.

It says so in the t&c's.

Forst post Folks...Go easy on me :)

Has Quidco been confirmed for this yet? and secondly, if i set this deal up for my sis in her name etc etc, but go via my quidco, will that still validate as she doesnt have quidco account and isnt bothered with the cashback as its still a good offer compared to what she has now...just seems like a waste of a £100 otherwise- now we can't have that!!! :?

Thanks for clarifying. I tried the link but it came up with "sorry the information you have requested isn't available" type error so I just simply ordered as a new contract and will port my number by phoning customer service later.
