Was fortunate enough to get a booking at the Hoxton earlier so thought I'd share the love and post this! Only available if o2 has LLU enabled at your BT exchange which rules out great swathes of the country, but if you're fed up with your ISP this might be worth looking at. I signed up a few days ago and should go live on 28th, was all very straightforward and quidco tracked £25 (think this is now increased to £40) There is no activation fee until 31 Jan and a free wireless router is included. Looked like a good deal to me. Other deals also available if you need higher speed -- £15 / mth for 16meg and £20 / mth for 20 meg, although this apparently depends on distance from the exchange. Hope this is of some use to some of you. Dont forget Quidco!

I joined O2 at the beginning of the month and have been extremely impressed - especially with their customer service. Before the transfer from my old ISP I was kept up to date with the connection process via email and text message. The day before the router was due to be delivered I received a text which gave me the option of changing the date if necessary - a nice touch. Everything went to plan and I was up and running within a couple of hours of my old ISP switching off.

After a week or so I noticed that my line was showing around 5mb speed but was dropping the connection briefly a couple of times a day. I called the O2 helpline and asked if there was anything I could do to stabilise it. A very helpful chap talked me through some possible solutions and said he would put a test on the line for 24 hours and call me back when it completed. I didn't really expect him to call back but he did! The problem turned out to be a bad extension in the house - which he correctly diagnosed and then provided a solution for (plugging into the master socket). He set up a new test and when it completed, he called me back again the to check that everything was OK - apparently he could see it was fine from his system so this was more a courtesy call.

I'm on an 8mb package (7.50 per month as I have an o2 contract phone) and the speed test results I am getting are now showing around 7mb. I couldn't be happier with it - the speed is great, the price is great, and they have a freephone helpline to a UK call centre that actually can help! That's all I need.
Does anyone know if this comes with any online storage space? Not clear from the O2 site.
I am paying a lot more with BT but use my personal webspace to host my Ebay images etc.

forgot about this deal. When it was first posted I was considering leaving O2 as my 12 months was nearly up.

Ended up staying with them so I am trying to order now! - 7.50 a month!

When I try to put my number in though, it's saying that the eligibility checker is unavailable at the moment...
