13.5 X 24 = 324
18.5 X 18 = 333

Calculation exclude any cash back offer :)

The deal should be through the web sites, under pay monthly phones :)

Can't see this through the link. Is it only as of tomorrow and is it through the website?

The link points to the 18 month deal. Reduce the Data Allowance to 'The Basics' and hey presto £18.50. Likewise if you press the 24 month deal and reduce the data allowance.

Cheapest i can see for monthly line rental is £16.50 on 24 month.

ah i see. Thanks

I think you can even drop the Data Allowance straight away bringing the monthly cost down to £10.50 - sure I read this another O2 thread.

http://shop.o2.co.uk/mobile_phone/pay_monthly/month24/Samsung/Galaxy%20S

here is the direct link for Pay Montly contract .. 24 months with basic data allowance (100 mb) for 13.50£

the good thing for the previous deal (BB Torch & 9780) was quidco was offering 100£ cash back and right now the cash back is only 50£

but as stuart9787 mentioned that you can drop the data bolt & only pay 10.50£ for the deal

not a bad deal but would be have loved it if it was Samsung Galaxy S 2 :)

Cold? Realise this is an older phone but it's still a good deal given total price.

Why on earth would you buy a smart phone and not have any data allowance. Granted you can use wifi a lot of the time, but in my experience some apps wont run via wifi and need 3g. You'll pay in the end!!

I just got this yesterday. I have a Samsung Jet and was desparate to get an android phone, or at least one with apps. I've been looking at the Galaxy for a while now. Cant believe this is so cheap!!! I know its an older phone, and an updated model has now been released, but the specs are still great and still better than a lot of other newer smartphones. Vodafone wanted £25 a month for this phone and that was on upgrade terms too - i told them about this deal, they said no way they could even get close.

You get the phone for less than you can currently buy it outright elsewhere!!!

So far, my initial views are that it is fantastic! Love the size of the screen, the brightness and clarity of everything. Havent explored very much yet, but i think i'm going to be a happy bunny.

Regarding use it's 50 minutes (which i dont use), 250 texts (which will be a bit tight but doable) and 100 mbs which again should just about be doable. I will have to monitor it very closely and use wifi at home as much as possible. But the guy said for an extra £3 a month i could upgrade to the 500 mb (he tried to get me to pay for the 500 mb and then reduce - but i like it better this way)

Many thanks to op for posting this deal, otherwise i would not have got this so cheap! Many many thanks
