Fantastic solid wood furniture. I have had loads from them good products and service.

Not a deal as such so cold.

I think I'll try a DFS "hot deal" and see how hot it gets. :D

It is great quality furniture but their sales are a joke. Surely it can't be legal to continually advertise a sale that 'must end in xx days' only to be replaced with an identical one with a different name and the same reductions. I've been watching a wardrobe I'm after through the last 10 or so sales (which equates to about 6 months) it is always the same price and never returns to their apparent rrp.

People have different definitions of what a hot deal is - I just look at value for money, and to me this looks good and fits my definition of a hot deal, so I posted it.

This "sale" price goes for at least 4 years now, was never sold at sugested rrp. It is nice furniture piece though, got myself with 5% quidco and 5% discount code at the time.

The DFS sale 'Must End This Weekend' for the last ten years.

They treat us like idiots. Takes the shine off what is otherwise great furniture.

I just finished reading Kate and Gerry McCann's book and they quote "Although we miss Maddie, we understand nothing lasts forever."

Apparently they haven't heard of the "Oak furniture land" sale.

I have had this sideboard for 4 years now, it's brilliant but I think this is what we paid then...

I have furniture from this store, and I am pleased with the quality of workmanship, they are not cheap, but it is money well spent.

Hi fruityloops - are you saying you managed to get more discount? Was that through in-store negotiation or something? Love fruityloops btw - awesome music making fun :)

Umm, I think I found a discount code online and used quidco too :-)

Glad you liked the name albeit slightly outdated now :-)

I bought some "leather" chairs from them. It turns out a few years later when the plastic is peeling that they are not leather at all. It's hard to tell the difference when new - but it's certainly obvious now.
