This is a double helping of "Why oh why would you pay for such **** ?"

Not only is it Oasis, a band so rubbish I have no words strong enough to express it (and I tried), but it's a download, meaning awful sound quality, ruining any enjoyment of...

What am I saying? It's Oasis. What does it matter? It's going to sound **** anyway. So hot deal!

I've never downloaded an album from iTunes (preferring to buy and burn myself). What's the sample rate on D/L albums?

Not sure why you bothered with the negative rant in the rest of your post but I tend to agree with this part - I've only ever paid for downloads of songs I know I can't source on CD or vinyl. I'd rather pay an extra pound or 2 to have a physical copy and be able to then rip it at a high bitrate so it sounds top notch.

256 kbps 44,100 KHz AAC files so reasonable quality, but 'Ain't got nothing will not download' it says the file is corrupted even if I delete it and start again.

Anyone else got the same problem???
or better a solution???

Same as or better than the majority of my recordings. Nothing wrong with 256K @ 44Khz.

Not a nice thing to say about one of Britains most successful bands. Won more accolades that the beatles.

A 'negative rant'? I thought it was quite a positive, upbeat, looking to the future with unbridled optimism and back at the past with naive innocence rant. Sorry people, but it's Oasis, I can't help myself. They don't deserve a serious, constructive post. They deserve bludgeoning to death with each one of their fans decapitated heads. Now that's constructive.

For anyone with the same downloading problem, I disabled Kaspersky for a minute and the file downloaded OK.

I like this album (hated standing on the sholders and not too mad about the last one either)

If anyone's unsure do the Napster trial (£10 Quidco and 30 day promo code) lots of good albums out recently so you can try them all before you buy.

I also follow this way of thinking. Yeah, it's a bit weird wanting to spend more, but the quality just isn't there on a download.
