Noel Gallagher says: "These are going to be the gigs of next year, if not the decade for a certain demographic ... These are the gigs that people remember, they meet future wives."

So, buy tickets on Friday for OASIS, 11th and 12 July at London Wembley Stadium to make sure that when you meet your future life partner it wasn't at some second-rate small concert by, er, some band you can't quite call to mind now. What'll you tell the kids?

Maximum of 6 per address per gig!

EDIT: LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE REALISED - THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF SALE - HOPE SOME OF YOU GOT YOURS WHEN THEY WERE LIVE FOR HALF AN HOUR!

The site is trustworthy, it's been around for yonks, probably just as long as ticketmaster and see etc, it's just not as popular.

"make sure that when you meet your future life partner it wasn't at some second-rate small concert"

Sounds like they are more concerned with matching people up than the actual music!! Maybe it's sponsered by AdultFriendFinder.

If you want to meet you future partner, but tickets to a Take That concert.

be sensible people - why spend money 8 months in advance when you'll easily get a ticket on the day (or on ebay in the last few days before the gig) way below face value? What's more, come July 2009 you might find yourself doing something else instead...

Would love to go - have seen them a few times, but I really cannot abide a section of the support they attract.
Being on the receiving end of some chavvy scums luke warm 'yellow pop' - hurled through the air is not my idea of a good time - which is a shame as the boys are absolutely first rate live.
Enjoy, everyone who is going - just take a hat... and don't lick your lips when the 'beer' comes flying.

Yes me. I go to 3/4 gigs a month on average and have used stargreen a fair few times. Because they do less tickets than the big boys (ticketmaster, seetickets and ticketline) they are often over-looked. This is great when there is a big gig on and the other sites are overloaded.

I would however second what was said earlier about getting your tickets nearer the time. I have picked up either front few rows at list price or greatly reduced tickets on the day or the week before.

You are right for the arena shows, prices held up well even in the last week (although most were more like 1.2 times not 4 times face). The stadium is a different scale. I would even lay money that I could buy a ticket at less than face value before the gig.

I was at the arena show on the 16th so I'm no Oasis hater trying to put people off buying them. I go to lots of gigs though and have gone to many at less than face value including Oasis.

At the end of the day it's supply and demand. Demand drops the week before the gig as people worry they won't get the tickets in time. Supply increases as people that ordered speculatively have to unload the tickets or get left holding them. Result is a drop in street prices.

If demand exceeds supply like it did for the arena then prices will hold up. As fans will have seen them on this recent tour and as Wembley Stadium is much larger I fully expect the normal balance point before the gig for this next one.

They're really not that big an act anymore so I'd be surprised if they easily filled the stadium for two nights. In Manchester maybe but Wembley.....?

Now if it was AC/DC I reckon they could easily fill Wembley Stadium for a few nights but they're only playing the O2 Arena for just two nights. Tickets will be a lot harder to get and much more expensive and an arena is a far better venue too. No yellow lemonade flying about either as another poster pointed out.:whistling:

These will be easy come by nearer the time I reckon.

Yeah, I understand supply and demand, I certainly couldn't get standing tickets for Oasis for less than £120, 3-4 X face value. I guess if you are prepared to rock up to the gig ticketless, wait 5 minutes until after they have gone on you will get a bargain.
