Now all I need is a good deal on the vinyl set, as £54.99 is a bit steep :x

Just placed an order  You gotto roll with it :p I got into Oasis in 1996 when the 'Oasis-Blur' war erupted and for me Liam had the perfect voice for a rock band. My friends used to slate me, but i stood defiant. Even to this date i have atleast 10-20 songs on my mp3 player from Oasis. Just gutted that i never went and saw them live. Does anyone know if the Knebworth concert has ever been put out on dvd sale? 450k fans each night in that concert.

From wikipedia: 'In 1996, Oasis, who were supported by The Charlatans, Kula Shaker, Manic Street Preachers, The Bootleg Beatles, The Chemical Brothers, Ocean Colour Scene and The Prodigy, played two shows with an audience of 450,000 per night. Over 2.6 million people applied for tickets for the shows, making it the largest ever demand for concert tickets in British history.'

Be Here Now has very good songs on it, yet its supposedly their worst album. My favorite tracks are:
-stand by me
-do you know what i mean
-my big mouth
-all around the world
#14
Agreed - Be Here Now is not a bad album at all. It was mostly slated because it followed 2 classic albums.
My Big Mouth is a massively underated track. Superb.

Awesome track that. Can't believe they left it off this set though, a single in Japan counts as a single surely?

Apparently it is on there as a 'hidden bonus track' at the end of one of the CDs, wasn't a popular move missing that one off:thumbsup:

You can get a copy of the Knebworth disc from various sources. I got the DVD off an Oasis forum some time ago - Its a rapidshare split in to about 16 files so it took me about a week of downloading to get the full disc.

Let me know if your interested in this and I'll try and find the link at home tonight.

Couldn't quite believe there were that many of us there at Knebworth so had to Google it for myself! This kind of number seems more likely!

Oasis had 150,000 a night for 2 nights = 300,000. Ironically Robbie Williams had more, 475,000 over 3 nights lol :)
#34
Yet another greatest hits collection from the overrated Manc pop group.
#35

You would think you would have something more productive do in your life than making a negative comment on something on a DEALS forum.

Great deal!
#38
Ordered. Cheers.

Everybody's forgotten about the single Whatever, but i wonder why it was never released as part of any of their albums
