have to agree

What's easier than emptying a sachet of this into your breakfast bowl, adding some milk & water and pushing the microwave button

A couple of minutes later, a bowl of hot porridge

love this porridge!!!!!! great find, will be in Sainsburys tomorrow! heat added

hmm, being a true scrooge :roll: I just put my bowl on the scales measure in 40g of oats, top up with milk till it gets to 220g - then put it in the microwave for 2 minutes!
Tesco porridge is currently about 49p a kilo. Sainsbury's own is a similar price as I've bought that before too.
not voted either way - it may be a decent price for the specific brand but so much is being spent on packaging....

It is more economical to buy the oats but these are very handy for work. I am eating them for lunch at the moment as part of my annual new year diet! :oops:

Yeah noticed this the other week and I have one every day, so I bought 5 packs to save money. They usually cost double that!

Perfect easy breakfast. Wish my local did the rasberry ones! I get the syrup and apple & blueberry.

Awww was in today and missed these :-(

The 1KG boxes are 2 for £2.50 at the moment so...

2000g = £2.50
vs
324g = £0.99

Personally, I prefer Sainsburys own Golden Syrup oats... the syrup taste is stronger :D

Good price though, H+R added!
#13
Apple and Blueberry flavour £0.98
Sweet Cinnamon flavour £0.99 - but 30g less at 330g
Original £0.98

Saving that little bit further :-D

I've just picked up 4 boxes. Tastes great and only 10p (ish) per serving.
