I've never understood these "products". Looking at the ingredients they are: Quaker Wholegrain Rolled Oats (76%), Sugar, Natural Flavouring, Salt. That suggests it's basically oats plus about 25% sugar. Oats cost approx £1 per kilo, sugar costs approx 40p per kilo, this costs £3 per kilo. I really don't get why this is a "good buy". Ho hum.....

Depending on your locality, and as to how many sachets you are wanting to purchase, these work out dearer then the Sainsburys offer

they are quick and easy to make(especially if your in a rush) and great for portion control, I know when I pour from a bag of rolled oats I always, always end up eating more than I should :(

oh and you can measure the milk in the same packet that it comes in so consistency of porridge is just right :)

Trust PepsiCo to take something naturally healthy like porridge oats and load it with excessive amounts of sugar...

It seems that some people are happy to pay 7 times the price for the convenience of opening a packet. Why bother with HUKD then?
