anybody not played this game, it is well worth it, absolutely amazing , but very time consuming

Oblivion is a fantastic game. Prepare to be addicted.

I bought this a year or so ago and must confess that it struck me as being somewhat tedious and supported lo-fi graphics.

Only ever played it a few times and got quite fed up with the thing - travelling anywhere takes an eon.

Nevertheless, I hear that it has a massive following and is a hugely successful title - if you like D&D type RPGs than this is for you , otherwise you may be disappointed, IMO of course!

You can still play this on the phat PS3's that have the 8001050F error.

Are there still some having that error? I was under the impression that it was a leap year rollover bug in the firmware and any affected consoles should have been fine when the 2nd of March rolled round - it was only when the consoles were convinced that they were in a different month from the network servers that it was an issue.

I agree. I totally enjoyed playing this but eventually got bored. The graphics are nothing special either.
Voted hot 'cos you'll still get a good tenners worth of play.

I'm a massive Fallout 3 fan, but I could never get into Oblivion.

We've got this one for the XBox and both me and my partner are completely addicted to it. We've wasted nearly entire weekends playing the game - seriously addictive.

Erm - got this for PC on it's release Spring 2006.... 3 girlfriends later I'm still playing it! I love the open-ended-ness and the massive world etc ,,, still not bored - even after completing Fallout 3 and all it's add-ons (although you can see similarities throughout the 2 games).

My current GF Natalie is a bit more understanding, and my 10 year old daughter hogs my PC at weekends to play it too (or watch me).

If I had a PS3 I'd get this at the drop of a hat (I'm an Xbox 360 bod) - OK the graphics are not up to 2010 standards now - but this beats Bioshock/Halo/Call of Duty series by far IMHO. Playability is the key!:-D

Nobody is having that problem anymore, it was just an internal clock error that fixed itself.

I love this game. I have played Fallout 3, Mass Effect etc etc but I always come back to Oblivian. I've played about 100 hours and I am probably only about half way through the main story

Is this game as 'slow' as Fallout3?

I need something to play and it seems cheap enough, but I really disliked Fallout.
