With binoculars, it's definitely a case of 'buy the best you can afford' you'll always tell the difference

These may sound good, but reading the Argos reviews I have my doubts

Don't buy zoom binoculars - the image gets bigger/more magnified as you zoom but more and more blurred. Get a pair of 7X - 10x fixed magnification (no more unless you plan to use them on a tripod all the time)

I don't use them nor do I know anything about them so comments are welcome either way, just thought it was a good reduction for someone. ;-)
A genuine (not rrp) reduction of £60 is a good saving if these are for you.

sorry read about these before buying

Avoid these!

Invest a little more in a brand like opticron - which are only a few quid more for the starter pair which usually come with a decent warranty.

Plus your neck will thank you if you dont hang such a heavy weight around them

Be fair, most gave them 3-4/5 stars! and only 6 people have reviewed them!
Here's 3 out of the 6 reviews who gave 4/5- and don't forget these were based on the £99.99 price!
The other 3 reviews were mainly due to the weight of them.

"good for objects at a distance , not so good at less than 30metres.
depth of field very good.
bright clear image.
distance between eyepieces(for nose) not comfortable."

"Good binoculars, clear image with amazing magnification. Tripod is necessary for stability at high magnification but the tripod connector was lightweight for the purpose with a fair amount of lateral movement. Tripod was a bit small for the purpose. A different tripod with a better connector would have got 5 stars."

"Very powerful binoculors. However, you really do need to set up a tripod to fully appreciate the binoculors potential. Field of view reduces greatly when you zoom in fully, although I must say that I am very happy with the purchase. Great pair of binoculors and well worth the price."
