Not sure i could consistently spend £40 on my shops so wouldn't be any use to me but a great price.
#3
.... I can't see any mention of this offer on their site...?

Cheeky sods have just emailed me to offer me this for £6.99 per month.
#6
I currently pay £10.99 per month - think I will be having words with Ocado - grrrrrrrr!!!!
#7
yes they are cheeky rob dogs like 25per cent off your shop max 15pound lol

I currently pay £3.99 for my delivery pass but when my sister-in-law tried to get the same deal they wouldn't do it for her despite her spending more a month on shopping than I did. I think this offer will be subject to internal criteria and targets rather than an offer to open to everyone.

It is a great deal if you can get it.

Ive had an account for a few months now and only done a couple of ordered. I have just signed up for 6months which I have paid £14.99 for... that includes deliveries on Tues Wed Thurs at any time. They sent me an email. Plus I got 25% off my next order lol
#10
Comes up at £109 for the year for me...

I got the email today and it's coming up with the following:-
Annual - £39.99 for the year
Mid Week Monthly (Tuesday-Thursday) - £2.99 per month
Monthly - £3.99
Mid Week 6 Month - £14.99

I've gone for the Mid Week 6 Month pass.

I signed up for this at Christmas and took the £39.99 for a years membership - so far working well, I usually use it every other week and keep an eye out for offers on things like toilet rolls, kitchen roll, dishwasher tabs etc to take the order over £40 if I'm a bit low.
#13
Comes up as £69.99/Year or £6.99/Month for me.

Ocado are great. But this is really confusing. I feel I've been let down a bit, actually, jumping in when I did and signing up for the delivery pass. This price might be for Tue, Wed and Thu only (this is what I was told when I tried to ring up and complain).

Would be great if someone can clarify this.
#15
mine says £6.99 a month - which isn't bad compared to Tesco's £5.99 per delivery.
But now feels like a rip-off if others are getting it for £3.99.
#16
Mine says £6.99 a month for "Monthly Membership" or £69.99 for "Annual Membership"

However the terms and conditions for "Monthly Membership" state - "*Monthly memberships will automatically renew each month, minimum term 12 months."

So it just means you're paying £83.88 for annual membership by paying monthly instead of a one-off £69.99

I don't get this. I just logged into the iPhone app and looked at delivery prices- certain late evening slots ie 10pm are free anyway???
#18
Yes, some late evening slots are free - but they go fast, and you often have to book it a week or more in advance if you want free delivery. Not always convenient. And there are almost never any free slots during the daytime or at weekends.

You need to order £75 worth of stuff to get that or they add on £3 to whatever the original delivery price is. With the delivery pass, not so much fuss!

I posted this deal back in January, as that's when I signed up. I have found out that it seems to be based on where you live, and your previous customer history with Ocado - £3.99 (£39.99 for the year) if you're lucky (like I was), £6.99 (£69.99) for some and £10.99 (£109.99) for others.

I think it's a reasonable deal for the £3.99 price, but otherwise I'd probably give it a miss.

I used to think Ocado were great, but not so sure they're much better than the competition any more. Substitutions policy - they charge you for the item they send, rather than the item you order, for example. And the bags don't seem to be packed with much care so you end up with squashed bits and pieces. Only minor things, and in many ways Ocado offers a superior service (good website, hour-long delivery slots bookable in half hour increments (i.e. 09:00 to 10:00, 09:30 to 10:30, etc). Wide variety of slots usually available - as early as 6.30am most days, and from 7.30am on Sundays in my area.

I agree with e16guy.

Service was *fantastic* but no more. I paid £39.99 for 1 year. Three months in I demanded a refund of that - which, to be fair they gave me. Trouble was that *every* order was delivered early with missing (but charged for) or broken items. I'd complained about a number of things and they'd refunded, but my last delivery I just had to reject entirely.

It's a real shame as I'd recommended them to everyone as they used to provide exactly the service I wanted - didn't mind paying that little bit more for. Trying Waitrose themselves now though they're clearly having teething problems. I may end up having to go back to Tesco.

After seeing this deal, I have just rung Ocado asking them why I have just had the price of my pass increased from £8.99 to £10.99 yet they're offering it to other customers for £3.99. Their response was that this was just for new customers (obviously valued more than regular ones as per usual) but they did agree to give me a discounted cost of £6.99. Better than a kick in the teeth I guess.

At least if more people sign up for the £3.99 deal, will leave more free late night spots for us ;)

Cheap(er) delivery but you'll pay for it with over inflated prices alright.

Plus they don't even deliver round my area. I guess we're just to common for them. Must move that rancid old three piece suite off the driveway.....

Fantastic for £3.99....placed first delivery......hope it turns out to be the good deal it seems to be
