Is this a good deal? In all honesty, do I run and grab now so to speak or is it nothing major?

Kinda good deal but not that special.

Will wait for a while then, thanks

Great deal, I think these were around £240 when I last looked and that wasn't that long ago! Hopefully sub-£100 sometime next year.

Great deal, I bought a 90gb Vertex 2 from scan 10 days ago for £175. It's very very fast. Boot up time for Windows 7 Pro now takes less than half the time, and programs open instantly. I would never go back to a mechanical drive after this. And you know what- I don't care if it only costs £75 in a year as I'm really happy with it now. Hot!

Me too. I have this in my i7 laptop and things just run. It's painful when I pick up the M1330 with the spinning drive - everything seems to take an age in comparison, esp startup and shutdown.
