Are you speaking from hearsay or personal experience?
If enough people quote hearsay as if it’s fact it tends to get treated as such regardless of how accurate it is.
Just about every company that I’ve dealt with on multiple occasions (10 – 20+ purchases) gets a bad press at times including Scan, Ebuyer, Dabs and OCUK.
I’ve found them all to be good.

If you’ve personally had problems with this company then please advise us what happened so that we can benefit from your knowledge. Otherwise, would you point us to a link which highlights the issues or else it might be worth considering apologising for spreading gossip.
I have had to RMA a motherboard to OCUK before & I had a replacement in my hand within 3 days from the day I posted the faulty one. Very very good service. They would have sent out a new one the same day they received the faulty one.

Bought about 3 computers worth of parts from them & not had a problem!
only dealt with OC a couple of times, never had any problems though. They don't have often the cheapest prices
I too have had bad service from OCUK, twice in fact. Ordered items, paid for next day delivery, items never turned up. Phone them up to see what happened, and was told, there was nothing they can do they were not sent out, the guy on the phone said that they will send them out saturday delivery, at no extra cost to myself, again didnt turn up, when i phoned up again to complain on the monday, i was told that they still had not been posted for no apparent reason. Was not offered a refund on my postage or a simple "sorry". Twice this has happened, so never again for me i think...

Its worth noting that with other retailers such as Ebuyer, if the postage is delayed for what ever reason, you will recieve a refund. That said, i have only ever had to do that once.
I ordered about £500 worth of upgrades about 6 months ago. Had no problems and delivery was v quick - I ordered on the monday morning and I had the goods in my hands on tuesday (and I live in N Ireland).
I bought this RAM 14 months ago, before the whole price fixing scandal over at Samsung. Back then, these set me back 130GBPs.
Good deal and good company, never had a problem from about 7 or 8 deliveries ive had from them. :)
I'm another happy customer of OCUK, and voting this hot. Never had any bother with them, and as others have said, the delivery is damn quick.

I'm very tempted to buy two sets of these in advance of upgrading my whole rig.
Terrible terrible company, and I've used ebuyer, dabs, scan etc. If you need to return something, you may as well throw it in the bin, that's the extent of their service. I've been sent goods that have been overclocked (when the spec was not overclocked) and it arrived artifacting. A two bit operation with a nice website.

Mind you I haven't bought anything since I found out that the owner, and affiliated people with the company are vile and very well known online fascist/racists (just do some googling, this is not hearsay), so if you have any sort of morality don't buy from them to save 2 quid. Even if you agree with their thinking, extra £2 is worth it for a better service.
Sorry but I'd rather sell my Granny than use OcUK. They sold me a duff CPU and tried to blame me for the fault and it took weeks to get the matter resolved. Their staff were rude and inconsistent. As per the post from Shamen, I've read some of their private forums and posts from some of their so called "dons" are foul and abusive.

I'd like the RAM but not from these people.
I hate to join in the bashing here, but if your against Racism then do not buy from this company - the guy that runs this is a blatant racist biggot (starting threads on his forum such as "Why do ****'s smell so bad")

EDIT - Censored term = Derogative term for Pakistani's
I think Shamen has pretty much summed up my thoughts on this company, I've experienced slow and incomplete deliveries from them in the past and browsed their forums which seem to display a decidedly unhealthy attitude toward minorities and people of an alternative lifestyle. Not a company I would recomend and not one I will be doing business with again.
OCuk are an awful company run by a disgusting racist, homophobic and completely bigoted fool!
They also try too pass off second hand goods as brand new and try their hardest to weasel out of their legal obligations by fobbing people off in the hope that the less confrontational and gentle souls give up or shy away!!
A few years back a load of people working for OC's left because of their practices and the way they handled customers, they spilt the beans and from what I can tell OC's have not changed a bit!!
Also their was a DON's room leak that showed what a vile creature 'Spie' and the people he had surrounded himself with are.

Scummy company that I wouldn't **** on if they were on fire.
But hey if you wanna give your money to a person like that then go ahead, personally I would rather pay extra somewhere else (normally cheaper elsewhere anyway) then line the pocket of a scum bag *******!
Not had a problem with OCUK myself. Never heard anything before as stated above so can't comment on that. Whilst it may be true about them using second hand/returned goods to sell as brand new, without that practice i don't think we would be seeing 2Gb ram so cheap. Its not like they are the only one doing it!!!
Now only £24.08 inc vat
