Been looking for this for a while after Play.com cancelled my order at £47 (surprise surprise it's unavailable). Been monitoring prices and next cheapest is £108.00 at memoryc.com. I know Pixmania deals rarely get any heat but I've never had a problem with them.

There is also a further 5.05% quidco/topcashback available on this.

I appreciate there is cheaper RAM around- notably the Simmtronics junk from 7dayshop, but I've only ever had bad experiences with cheap RAM and tend to trust the named brands a bit more. OCZ aren't the quickest on RMA but at least they stick to their promises....usually.

Not a comparable deal and not applicable for those that want 16gb in a 4 slot mobo, but a good deal nevertheless

... for those that want 16gb in a 4 slot mobo...

Who the hell needs that? I'm running 12Gb for some really heavy Photoshop manipulations across many windows at once, which makes life a doddle, so what's anyone need 16Gb for? World domination, perhaps?? oO Can there really be any games that need this? X)

Voted hot BTW.

I need 12gb for running ableton quickly and a 4 port mobo doesn't allow me to do that with 2gb sticks

I have 16gb in my server, I have specifically upgraded my whole server setup so I can have 16Gb to run 3-4 VM (Virtual Machines) on my server.

I've got two 2GB sticks of Simmtronics memory in my gaming PC right now.

While Windows runs like a champ, I keep getting blue screens of death and crashing to desktop when I play games. I've replaced the PSU (Because that was dying and I thought it might be the issue), so now I suspect it's the RAM.

My opinion is that Simmtronics memory is good for everyday computing, but not for gaming.
