not a lot to worry about in the cost side but I thought that the Samsung was supposed to be more reliable and about the same speed?

Samsung is definitely the better drive though for £10 more it would be wise to get a 120/128GB model just for future-proofing.

I know it's not a lot more for a bigger drive but I just will not use it - I back up to a normal hard drive every day and only use 32gb for windows and all the programs I run -- 64gb is a bit over the top, although I did wonder if the drive would last longer if larger - as I know it can only use an area a certain amount of times and a larger drive would mean it could move the data about more?
thanks - Samsung it is then -sounds like a no brainer!
OCZ drives are terrible.
Yeah, basically, the more unpartitioned space you have, the more space your drive can use for wear balancing. But a good drive will last you 3 years anyway.
Samsung is always the cheapest (as well as being one of the 3 most reliable SSD brands) if you factor in the value of Norton Ghost which is a guaranteed £20 sale on ebay Buy it Now.
