Seems like a good deal for two games which should be £8.99! Bit too nice outside to be sitting inside playing games mind! Each game is also available seperately for £1.50 each! Read More

I used to love these games on Playstation. Munch's Oddysee on 1st Xbox was brilliant too. Heat added!

yeah, these were great on the PS. might dig them out later :D

Great classic games and certainly worth of try but I hate idea of Steam and I will never support them, even with 1p. I hope, one day this servis will be closed.

Quality 3D adventure games at a decent price. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Steam? Wossatden?

Hi baconsandwich

It would be a good idea to add what format the games are for eg PS/PS2/PC to the title.

I loved these games also.

Now that is what I call a deal! These games were fantastic, and should be just as playable 10 years or more onwards.

Cannot wait for the rumoured next adventures on the Xbox 360, loved the 2 exclusives they released on original Xbox 1

These will be 'downloads', Steam do not post hard copies, once you order, you download setup to your hard drive.

"After you've purchased a game, download it immediately and start playing."

agreed - excelent games ,. but I also would rather stab myself repeatedly in the eye than have steam on my computer.

Might one ask why?
#18
Why? Whats wrong with steam? You are only cutting off your nose to spite your face if you refuse to use it, you're missing out on a lot of brilliant games.
#19
Great price, been meaning to play these for a while. I have no problem at all with using Steam, for cheap purchases like this I actually prefer it to having a physical copy taking up space.

I've no problem with it and enjoy the fairly frequent free weekend of various games it's trying to plug.

It's infinitely better than some of the anti piracy strategies put on other games...
#21
brillaint games, didn't like them once they changed from platform games on the xbox, but these 2 are excellent.
#22
Steam is one of the best platforms built and is the best content delivery system bar none. You can reinstall games you've brought many times without hassle (not sure on if you were to install your games 4 times a month though). Yes it had problems in its first incarnation but they were ironed out years ago.

If Steam was a load of **** Google wouldn't be trying to buy it off Valve (and may still do). As for the argument that you prefer hard copies, Steam allows you to create backups which you can then just burn to disc should you wish to do so but IMHO its pointless.

It's a good deal and things like steam is way forward.

It says you need windows 2000 or XP. Has anyone tried it on Vista?

Maybe you have a secret fantasy of dressing up as a pirate???

Been using Steam since HL2 came out & feel its convenient, reliable & good value.

Be interested to know why a few dislike it so much - In my experience there aint nothing to dislike.
#30
Amazing game, played the original on PS1 for hours, never completed though. I'm sure i will now :)
#31
I for one love Steam. Consider that GTA4 on steam contained none of the DRM that made the retail version so hated (limited installs, etc etc). Sure it had Steam DRM instead, but theirs is BY FAR the lesser of the 2 evils.....

I must admit that i have no real knowledge of Steam but what i do love about this site is whenever someone posts something you get these ridiculous over the top statements from people saying that its a terrible deal and offers nothing to back it up! I mean who in there right mind is going to read this post and go "well i was going to buy this but i've been reliably told its better to blind myself than install Steam on my computer!" Its just frankly ridiculous. Good craic though :o)

I guess that it can be annoying if you don't have a fixed internet connection, lots of games you can't play until they are activated online. Hardly a reason to stab yourself in the eye though.

Also, some of the games are at completely ripoff prices compared to online shops. Good deals like this are quite common though.

Probably biggest advantage is that you dont have to mess around with CD's/DVD's if you want toplay a game.

Agreed absolutely no use if you dont have a decent internet connection.

Yep, you are right ...+ some other factors too
- You have to install the malware on your PC and let them to scan your hard disk - who knows, what data Steam is interested in, who control them and how they make the data secured?Where would you complain if they did something wrong? How can you make sure that they do not gather other data than copy of your registry.
- You cannot re-sell the game. It's understandable if you have downloaded the game but ...you can't sell the game even if you have bought hard copy. Can you imagine car manufacturers acting like this ?

Do not get me wrong, I am against piracy but I am also against breaking my rights for privacy. Do not be naive and believe that all the activities will help you in any way.

'Citizen!'

'Wait'

Awesome Game!

My only problem with Steam is if they're charging more for their download versions than hard copies in stores, as they usually do for new titles. I never buy anything off the service if it isn't on sale, but if they let you get classic old games at amazing prices, it's really hard to fault what they're doing.
#38
It says this'll only run on Win2000 or XP. The demo seems fine on Vista - ha anyone else tried it.

I've still got my original CD-rom of this somewhere but it would only ever run on Windows 95/98 and then only if you installed DOS before you installed Windows. Personally I never got any further in the game then I had in the free demo but for £1.50 I'm willing to give it another shot 'cos Abe is funny!
#39
Works fine for me in Vista x64.

Winner thanks.
