Just been & pre-booked tickets for Toy Story 3, and decided to join the premiere club whilst we were there.

£4.99 for the membership, £32.40 for the tickets (inc 3D glasses).

Triple points for booking Toy Story 3, means we now have enough points already for 3 free tickets in the future, and they also gave us a free Bugs Life DVD for taking out the membership.

Obviously not such a great deal if you're already a member of their Premiere Club, as you won't get the 500 starter points, but if you were thinking about joining before and plan to see Toy Story 3 with the kids anyway, this could be a good deal for you.

Bugs Life DVD not available online, but if you book online anyway you have to pay an extra 75p per ticket booking fee.

They charge over £10 for adult tickets over here, so assuming that the 3 tickets you gain through points can be used for 3 adult admissions, this is a good deal for movie buffs.

Have looked at this before, but our nearest Odeon is 40 miles away, so never bothered :|

Good deal if you were going to the Odeon to see it anyway.

Found this bit while trawling round on the Odeon website;

The maths don't add up.
£32.40 cost of tickets. 10points per full £1 spent. 320 points earned.
Toy story triple points deal 3x320 = 960 points
Starter points for £4.99 membership = 500
Total points 960 +500 = 1460
Minimum points required per ticket is 800 so it is not 3 extra tickets for free. This would only be possible if they gave you triple value on the 500 starter points which I doubt will be the case.

Just going on what the guy at the cinema told us. I'll register the card shortly and let you know what the balance is.

If you are a member you don't have to pay online booking fees, to be honest until multi-point deals like this it was the only real reason to join as their points system is very minimal.

Your deal's rubbish. Through my work I get to go for free as often as I want and take friends along for free too. Actually, my deal's rubbish too - I know people who are paid to go and see films.

Just registered but initial points take a few days to show apparently. Will be visible on Wednesday I think.

I just joined also on the £4.99 option and it shows i have 100 points for now (by the looks of it) and hopefully will see the rest 500 starter points show up in a few days.

I have booked 3 tickets for me, my daughter and my little sister to watch Toy Story 3. Plus i will be going to go and watch inception this Saturday. So i should have a few points racked up. Just noticed that you that you have to pay £1 for 3D glasses if you don't have them from your Avatar viewing, but luckily i have 2 glasses and my brother has 2, so that's me ok for the 3D glasses.

what's the difference between the 3 types of packages - apart from the number of "free" starting points?

i work for the odeon so maybe able to help out.

£9.99 = 1000 points + for the first month double points once the card has been registered!! If your Odeon has a Gallery and you often go there i recommend you buy the card without tickets register it online and then buy your tickets. £18 a gallery ticket. Double points means you can get a free gallery ticket next visit!

£4.99 = 500 points free. if youre going with the £4.99 package with triple points you should have about 960 points but it depends if you include glasses and peak times etc. 800 points gets you a standard seat excluding 3d i believe its another 250/300 points for that.

Got my 600 points (starter + bonus). Now i just need to wait for the 230 points after the Inception viewing and 870 points after the Toy Story 3 viewing. So that will be a nice 1700 points, which gives me 2 free standard tickets.
