I was looking for the cheapest AVG Internet Security suite because my licence had run out and I got a good offer off hotukdeals before.

So after using hotukdeals and not finding any decent offers that hadn't expired, I used google shopping and found this one for dirt cheap.

There were other websites selling it for this price, but this website had 1000+ reviews with around 5 stars and free delivery.

Note this is the latest Internet Security Suite and not just the Anti-Virus.

I've just ordered a copy, but am a bit worried this is too good to be true. But I thought I'd post the deal so people can discuss it and their previous dealings with the supplier.

Just wondering could this just be the CD without the licence? It doesn't say so, but I've heard some companies do this. Anyway discuss and I will tell you whether it's the full thing in 7 working days.

How long did it take to have the free av comment. Good price heat added. Although I expect it to be voted cold because it's not free. :|

KAPERSKY, for example, is FREE from Barclays.

Free? I have my current account balance in a bank that pays interest. I earn more than £3.96 a year in interest so this is a better deal than Barclays' 'free' software!

Thanks for posting - Hot from me.

...and you get what you pay for!!! Had loads of AVG users (free and paid for) recently with the Resident Shield virus, or one of its many variants - don't take my word for it, check Google. Internet security programs that don't work properly lull you into a false sense of security, which is worse than having no security at all; at least then you are careful about the sites you visit and the emails you open!

I'd just like to point out again this is the full internet security suite and not just the anti virus.

The second thing I'd like to add is even though Kapersky is free with barclays, and is rated pretty high in toptenreviews. When I used it on my computer and my mothers laptop, it slowed it down incredibly. I find kapersky very heavy on the system, while AVG isn't.

So even though I can get free kapersky internet security suite (i do have an online barclays account), I'd still rather buy AVG because it doesn't ruin my performance (and my machine is top spec).

Used to use AVG all the time until it got to version 9, which became just as bloated as Norton!
Changed to Avast! Antivirus Free version and have not looked back.

Personally I don't pay for AV software but if AVG is your thing, then this look like a good price...

I ditched AVG 2011 full because it slowed my PC down to a crawl, unlike 2009 which was OK, wouldn't recommend it personally.

There's no substitute for a top quality Internet Security Suite. Norton Internet Security has been the best for a few years now and has one of the lightest footprints. Don't take my work for it:

1 user licence is £19 delivered from ebuyer and £24 delivered for a 3 computer licence from Amazon.

Read the above reviews and take my word for it that Norton is no longer bloated. It's much faster than all of the free anti virus you can get and far more secure.
