You need to be a student (with valid .ac.uk e-mail id) to grab this :-D !! So this is not open for all & its only/specially for students!

The other one posted was better though (ie in getting it) as you just had to be a parent of someone at school - and not need to have a ac.uk email address. More than just office as well!

Cant find the post - but this is the link: https://www.rm.com/thebasement/

Thanks! The link was just too great... !! Helps students like me :-D !!

If you work for the NHS (Microsoft Home User Program), you can get the Office Enterprise 2007 version for about £24

Register your NHS e-mail address here http://www.microsoft.com/uk/nhs/pages/nhs_licensing_home_user_programme.aspx and they will send you a unique web address to purchase.

best offer yet. HOT.

Actually it's available under the home use program to many organisations/businesses (not just the NHS) for £17.73 as was posted a few months back.

Even if the company you work for does not have a fancy web site - if they have more than a couple of hundred or so copies of Office installed they may well have a Microsoft Volume Licensing Agreement. So it's worth having a word with you IT folk to see if you qualify.

I bought this, My friends were shocked - they didn't know anyone who has paid for office!
All the software on my laptop is legitimate :)

You might want to try and follow my post here
try right-clicking and running the setup program as admin, and if that fails try temporarily disabling UAC.

Thanks OP. I had to give up on the NHS one as it wouldn't work on my laptop for some reason so got this one as next cheapest option
