I just went into my local Tesco in Carmarthen to try to buy an Apple lightning to 30-pin adapter for my dock. They are £22 online in Tesco but they didn't have them in store. But the sales staff on electrical said they had the cable ones in stock.. I thought that would do the job and when he said they are £7.50 I snatched his hand off, they are £35 at the Apple Store.

They are the official Apple product.

Before the Apple haters start, I am just trying to help someone who needs one of these adapters.

He said that they had plenty in stock and thought it was a nationwide price. Hope it's not a Wild goose chase for anyone..

Been looking for one of these for ages at a reasonable price - shame there's none in my Tesco.

It's lighting to the 30 pin because you're converting a lighting port into a 30 pin port. This is how apple name their products, thunderbolt to FireWire, Mini DisplayPort to VGA etc :)

If it says "Lightening" on the box, it isn't an Apple product, it's a cheapie from the Far East. Are you sure it doesn't say Lightning?

Sorry. You're right. I'm just amazed by the number of people who don't know the difference between lightning and lightening...and lighting :) Drives me Petty.
