doesn't include vat and customs handling ?
Obviously not but as long as you don't go for the DHL shipping option then you won't pay any. Judging by your username though you won't be buying this deal just in case.

Got the 2gb version of this and took 11 days from a seller called Goldway, just received a Mi Max phone today and took 14 days but after 7 hours setting the phone up it had problems swiping across the screen, thought it was a glitch in one app but after 4 apps i reset the phone to go back tho got this one via ebay and not ali express like the note 3 pro.

21 days from ordering to delivery to rural Scotland, standard free delivery from aliexpress. I ordered a Mi Max early December, incredible phone for £120 delivered, like the Miui software a lot. Remember to give quidco or topcasback a try, remove the UK warranty charge, unless you want it, and I got a $10 discount for setting up a new customer account.

The link in your comment is the same phone as the one in this deal. This comment link explains the usage of "Prime" by some sellers. Although the comment is about the RN4, it's the same idea for the RN3. It doesn't have any model/variant that is officially named "Prime" by Xiaomi so it is based on seller naming which varies. For example, Honorbuy's page and Geekbuying's page for the same phone don't say "Prime".

I was wondering what you mean by this? If you are referring to the bands, then you will note ( no pun intended) that the Global version caters for all the UK bands, including band 20 which is the one sometimes missing on Chinese devices.

I've been using this phone since October, great phone, well worth it at that price. It's well supported by custom ROM community at XDA so you can easily remove that stock firmware if it's not to your taste. LTE on O2, don't know about other networks.

Kate works on all our networks.

Can I use this straight out the box? I've never had an imported phone.

Was on the verge of buying this and/or the Note 4 International/global version earlier on this week. In basket and hovering over 'buy', but the flashing of new ROMs and working out if you needed an unlocked bootloader etc etc stopped me going for it, as well as the projected delivery time and possible lack of updates.
Now erring towards the Lenovo P2 from Three - £60 more expensive but security of buying in Uk and don't have to reflash etc.
Any advice - I realise the cost differential but have read so much stuff about malware etc bundled in with adapted Miui vendor ROMs that concerns me. Most advice seems to be to reflash them when you receive it but is that honestly needed?
Any advice?

My mi maxs delivery took 14 days from placing order to my door. Dispatch took 7 days and delivery itself only one week! And that was the cheapest option, not dhl.

The Lenovo P2 looks to be a great device. You don't always have to flash stock firmware but it's probably best you do. It's easy enough. It works out of the box. The rest, custom ROM, kernels, root, etc, are optional.

Battery is easily replaced (at least for the normal one- son smashed the screen and I took it apart. Eventually bought this....)

This has an International Global ROM which receives regular updates; it is not a modified Chinese one.

Also, the official cases are too short as this is a couple of mm longer than the standard version
