Or you could buy the same mug from Tom Hicks (as seen on TV) barely used. He's asking £500 but I'm sure he'll be forced to drop the price by July...

I am a Liverpool Supporter by the way...

Really mature! Now off to bed, past your bedtime...

Insulting 44,000 fans of the most successful English football club in history who have watched their side beat Chelsea, Man Utd and Real Madrid this season. Sitting second in the league and through to the latter stages of the Champions League.... which (including european cups) they've won five times and been to two recent finals

They are mugs aren't they... going to watch that... Tell me... Have your side managed that? Then how much of a mug are you?
#13
My team have only won it 9 times :)

Goodnight.

Haha I'm not surprised it's been voted cold, it is a good deal but when it comes to football if your not at the same level as Liverpool are at the moment, you have to envy them.

I'm still going to buy a good handful of these..make good presents for the little ones

Thats about right, Liverpool FC only have 44,000 fans.. And we don't have to worry about offending them as most live in Norway and probably don't bother with this site...

It's wierd the way liverpool fans only seem to remember the the games they won and never the hopless draws/defeats against relegation strugglers that have cost them the premiership since it began.

It is also amazing that their fans turn on their manager until until their owners agree and they turn on their owners for not backing their beloved manager and berate the board into resignation because they are ruining the club all during the season where they have had the best run at the premiership ever. Its amazing how thick these people from cheshire are!

Hi
Thanks for posting. I love to see football deals on here. We don’t see enough.
I suspect that this is because people vote “cold” on the team rather than the price/deal; which is a shame, as it puts other people off from posting a deal for their team. Ultimately, then, we get fewer and fewer football deals posted and all football fans could be missing out on a potential deal as a result of the cold voting (for no other reason than the voter doesn’t support that team).
I hope people only vote on this as a deal rather than the team, because there are loads of football bargains to be had out there and I would like to see them on HUKD.
Kind regards
Andy

actually.... I was responding to the chap who said that 44,000 fans are mugs.... The Man U fan who thinks that The Champions League and the Premiership are the same thing...

and I actually live in Bootle, which is about 15-20 mins drive from the ground thanks... and I used to live in Anfield (By the Clarence) so there is another theory of yours shot to bits...

and the chap who says Liverpool only have 44 thousand fans.... behave yourself eh?

As for all Liverpool fans being from Norway... Erm, think you need to check on where the United Supporters live... London isnt it? As far as I'm aware, a hell of a lot of real fans in Manchester Support City... Even before they got all the cash!!

I'm not going to quibble... united are a great team... on their day, better than Liverpool at the moment, but when a gonk comes on saying that people who watch Liverpool are mugs then he deserves a response such as I gave... particularly when he claims to have won the Champions League 9 times!!

Grow up all three of you... We all support quality sides... and even if we didnt, you dont boost your owns sides fans image by slating other teams fans... or other teams...

Mr sense of humour bypass? Try being a little less bias eh and stop following the crowd.

I've got nothing against Liverpool, but IS £2.99 for a mug a good deal? I would've said it sounds a bit overpriced.

Get your facts right... Parry resigned because of a lack of working relationship with Hicks and Benitez... Not because of 'the fans turning on Parry'. He's the resignee I take it. the fans are angry at Hicks and Gilette because they have consistently lied and failed to deliver on a new stadium and loaded debt on the club (when they stated they would not). Parrys vote on the board prevented further debt being placed on the club and so Hicks wanted him gone so that the balance of vote would go to Hicks & Gillette. This is also why there was a request for Gilette Junior and Hicks Junior to have votes on the board.

The protests against Benitez? I've not heard any at anfield... maybe your mates have said how he comes up with dodgy subs... but that goes on day to day.. the huge majority have backed benitez to the hilt... including chanting for him during the difficult times... always against Hicks and Gilette.

Benitez has done well 'despite' Hicks & Gilette... not 'Because of'.. the whole saga over Heskey & the purchase & sale of Keane on teh last day of the Transfer window and Benitez refusing to sign his contract until getting 'more control over transfers' and Parrys resignation should tell you that...

Dont spout bull okay... you only make yourself look dim.

Its the branding that drives the price up unfortunately... and its a good deal because the higher price is the RRP and thats a standard price for a branded mug.

Would rather drink out of a cheapo unbranded one myself... :)

I was making a generalisation at that point about all the out of town supporters and not refering specificly to yourself (but bootle comes under sefton council and apparently since destination kirby was first announced you can't be a scouser if your are not serviced by Liverpool council).
why did you move out of liverpool? was it to take advantage of the accelerated season ticket applications LFC offer for out of town fans.

Born in Madrid and raised in Liverpool, i was actually at Anfield when you beat us 4-0 and correct me if i am wrong, that still leaves you on 5? Yep thought so which means we are STILL the most successful club in the history of the european cup/champions league/whatever.

Highlight of the night was hearing Liverpool fans singing 'we've won it 5 times' haha proper clueless. :)
