I got some of these for 59p each, not sure if that's the same total for what you posted as I'm too lazy to do the math

You are kidding? Massively over inflated toys in the first place made them so expensive people wouldn't buy them, now the games are over and these are of no relevance at all they are trying to get rid of them, bit like trying to sell a used cinema ticket.....Tesco had the right idea -free is all they are worth.

IMO, the main problem with our bizarre Olympic mascots is that they're not friendly-looking. It would have been possible using their single eyes to have implied a smile, but instead their expression is more akin to a cold stare.

    Good price, though.

These things are just weird. Whoever designed them must have been on something - and whoever thought they were a good idea for Olympic mascot must have been on something stronger........................

The ones in Tesco are 20cm...the ones from Home Bargains are 30cm...admittedly not sure if it's worth paying for the extra 10cm but each to their own I guess :3

Tesco had the 3 "Mascots" - Wenlock (Standard Version), Wenlock Union Jack and Mandeville - and also had the Team GB Mascot Pride the Lion....was delighted that I'd got them for nowt but am now seriously reviewing my opinion as to whether it was worth taking them even if they were free having sat all evening feeling like I'm being watched...yup have to say the one-eyed things are really creepy oO

So pleased! My youngest is Olympic plush mad and we can't get Wenlock anywhere in traditional colours (Tesco all 'sold' out).

    Thanks and heat added

Might be the same character, but it's a different toy.
