250GB harddrive for xbox is well worth it. thanks

I'm confused. What makes it "Final Fantasy" specifically? Just the label on the thing? If so then the marketing is a joke. When I first saw the post I assumed the drive came with FF installed on it somehow. And "fusion colour" - it's a grey hard drive for gawd's sake.

That said though, £58 seems a good price for a 250GB drive so I'm voting hot on what you get for your money.

Most likely another chinese fake

Sounds a bit fishy to me

I am going to say this, if they have that product in stock at all (found once or twice that they will keep advertising a product long after it is either discontinued or out of stock), it will likely take WEEKS to arrive. Once it does arrive, if the product is brand new and sealed, you have gotten lucky this time. I will also add that trying to get a refund from this company is nigh on impossible. Took me nearly 3 months of asking, then demanding, then basically daily hassling via phone and e-mail to get a refund for an EMPTY BOX!

Be warned...

Correct! I bought one of the 120Gb ones myself. No problems whatsoever! [and it's not the first time I've bought from Broadbandbuyer - indeed my son's employers who are a telecommications company, buy a lot of their hardware from them]

It is a genuine Microsoft OEM drive definitely

I bought the 120GB one posted earlier. Drive came within 2 days, brand new and genuine.

I don't know what going on with all the comments here.

I've bought from them in the past and not had a problem.

Will Microsoft still send out a free transfer kit for these?

Does anyone know if the kit for the 120GB one will work with this?

Thanks
#13
I had a 20Gb so just used my 8Gb usb stick to transfer everything across. Took about 8 minutes.

I don't think Microsoft is sending out the kits for free any more, and I didn't want to wait around

i made my own for £40 works a treat :)

This company is dodgy, buy them on ebay instead for about the same price and that way your covered by paypal's buyer protection

Nicely. It's a certain Western Digital model you have to get hold of, if I'm not mistaken?
#17
There is not much differnce between fake and genuine. Main difference is if you openned up and found a Western Digital hard drive in, then it's a fake.

However, who dares open one. Ha.
#18
Ive taken a punt. I paid by paypal. Am I still covered?

Yep - 'Western Digital Bevs' series drives.

- So how does this company have the special edition 250GB HDD's for sale that only come with the ltd edition FFXIII Elite?

i had a forza super elite 250gig from them for £65 about a year ago

I managed to get a second hand one of these from gamestation, they had it for 59.99 pre-owned. They gave me £40 credit for my 120gb hard drive and i paid the other £20 on top, pretty good me thinks.

Buy the drive from shopto or above..(at the price it is now) it's cheaper than making your own... 250gig is the highest you can use on 360 whilst making your own. You can stick a 320gb or 500gb bev drive in hack it but it will only be the capacity of the highest Security Sector ripped from an official drive.Which is 250gb at minute.
