Already got 2 but not fussed about dualshock as in my opinion it doesnt make it much more fun and it would also run the battery down quicker wouldn't it?

Its a lot heavier than the six axis which to me when i used it feels too light - but if its heavier than the dualshock 2 it will be better for the gamer
Wouldnt drain the battery too much but who cares if you han charge it

Yeah i know its not a big deal and I would go for the DS3 at the same price. I'm just saying I wouldnt pay that much more for the DS3 one. And yeah I agree the heavier controllers do feel much nicer although I've now got used to the light ones my old ps2 controllers seem way too heavy...

No point judging this deal because it ISN'T something else. It is what it is, and when the DS3 arrives, it wont cost £19.99. Heat added.

It has already arrived:

I'm another one who thinks the PS3 controllers are too light - I personally prefer the heavier 360 controllers.

Still, it's a good price - and that's what this is all about!!

Ah right, knew it was this month, wasn't sure of the date.

And yep I definetly agree that the heavier dual shock, if it's similar to that of the PS2 will be better. I HATE how light the Sixaxis is.

£20 for a second controller - gets a hot vote from me. Who cares if it hasn't got dual shock, gonna give it to my mate to use for two to four player games anyway!!

Now all I need is too find a second guitar hero guitar and not be expected to pay £45 for it.

I bought myself 3 of these;

http://*********.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190228484125&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=009

So for £10, I now have 4 PS3 controllers, all bar-one of them complete with rumble.

Who cares about motion sensing. Not me! :)

The extra heft is the biggest improvement of the DS3 over the Sixaxis in my opinion. I can live without rumble, but the default PS3 controller is just too light. That said, for second (or third or fourth) controllers which aren't going to see a huge amount of use, why not go with these at this sort of price? Just be aware that they'll be dropping across the board now that DS3 is out, and this may not be the best price we see in the coming weeks...

No-one is going to pay £40 for a standard ps3 controller, they're £27.99 delivered at Play.com. So if this were to be judged purely on a like for like basis it's £8.00 cheaper.

It can be rated cold if the price difference between a non ds3 and a ds3 controller isn't large enough, or to buy one without ds3 at this point (if someone feels it's an important feature) would be a bad idead, therefore it attracts a cold vote.

Hope that cleared it up for you :)

Hot for gimping off your mates with. Cold if you plan to use it yourself (DS3 is soooo much better). So I'll vote hot based on that.

Excellent deal, thank you for posting! I have both the DS3 and the standard ones and I like both fine, sometime the vibrating gets annoying and they are a bit heavier. These for £20 is excellent considering they are £35 in-store at HMV!!

long live PS3!!!!!!!!!!!:-D
