1st poster mistake I'm afraid !? ;-)......... SEARCH is your friend ??? ;-)

First Amazon, then gameplay now Play.

This sounds to me like SONY is finally producing a lot of these things. I think I might wait a bit longer hopefully they will start to come down in price soon.

I guess I could pay a fiver for this maybe a tenner.

what a review from play...

If you have online on your ps3 and always typing messages like me then u need this. As typing messages normally takes forever, but with this its done in a thir of the time! Brilliant. Takes a bit of gettin use to but u will get used to it pretty quickly. If you have really big thumbs, do not get this. As the buttons are very small, and would be easy to press the wrong button. But you can have it clipped onto the controller without it ******ing you while you are in a game which is clever. Fantastic...buy it now!

I wouldn't want to be ******ed by it

Heat added but an epic fail on my part as I bought this based on the 19.99 post. I normally do a quick search as well. He ho, once bitten and all that

this was out of stock for a while...so at cheaper prices might not be many around.

good luck with that, did you not notice that places selling them around this price seem to sell out within 24 hours.

A real keyboard is far easier to use than that (imo). I don't see why people would buy it myself.

can any 'real keyboard' be used with ps3

Yes, any usb keyboard, you can also use usb mice for browsing and a usb printer for printing stuff. PS3 is really good for supporting most usb peripherals, just about everything but 360 controllers ;)

I dont know why Sony made the keypad to fit the top, do they have 6 inch thumbs for twonks sake? I dont want to start a war (btw I have every console) but the 360s pad is better underneath!

I think the reason they put it up top is because that's where the Mini-USB connector is (which is usually used for charging) thus giving the keyboard power, a data interface, and somewhere for it to be held.

but it doesn't connect into the USB socket (it has its own external USB port for charging), so what point are you making?

if people don't know, you do not need to physically connect this keyboard to the controller, you can use it on its own (I keep mine next to me on the sofa and pick it up when needed)

I just got mine this morning via the Amazon deal a few days back, looks a good piece of equipment, but.... peering inside the blister pack... my god the buttons are tiny!

I find the 360 chat pad easy to use because the buttons are square but I'm wondering if I'll struggle with the buttons on this - the tiny little buttons are rounded, making them look like an obstacle course of mis-pressed buttons :S
