They should release a bundle including the game and a controller for £49.99. Be perfect.

Does the Pro Controller work with this game?

what games will these work for? Only smash bros?

I love the Gamecube controller, but why can't they make it wireless (like the Wavebird was)? Also, why can't the use some controller mapping system so these Pads can emulate the buttons of a Wiimote/Wii U gamepad (for greater compatibility).

No as plugs into a wiimote I believe...

These aren't wired controllers, I can't believe these people have been allowed to continue to say something so incorrect.

I guess because the title in the link says 'wired' :)

If you want to play nintendo games properly without lag, don't get these.
It also isn't made by nintendo so the parts will be inferior.

No but they are made by PDP who have received awards for their controllers ;)

I'm hoping for some sort of Limited Edition Smash Bros pack which has the black GameCube controller bundled in.

Not sure if anyone noticed but the new controllers have + and - buttons now.

They are attached to Wiimotes (which themselves are wireless) so they are not wired.

Yes they are, which works fine for Smash Bros.

Oh, i notice that oUkTuRkEyIII's condescending post towards me has now vanished (_;)

Anyway, any chance these would work on the original Wii?

You can use both Wiimotes and the Classic controller on Android so i wouldn't be so hasty to say no.

Infact you can use the Pro controller on it also.

Yes, yes they are actual GameCube controllers. They do not require a Wii Remote in order to use them.

They are a standalone fully functional controller and a primarily targeted at Smash Bros. gamers.
#35
GameCube controllers that connect to a WiiU might I add, won't work on an original GameCube

I fail to understand how there will be noticeable lag, when what ever controller you use will be wireless?

How would you know? The game isn't even out until sometime in the Winter.
