They sent me a broken one so returned it for an exchange and they only just posted the replacement yesterday. Over a month after ordering. And that was only because I emailed them telling them they had the controllers in stock, just at a higher price than when I bought it. Zavvi are very silly.

Hot deal from play.

Good deal. What else is needed to get one of these working on a PC? Im torn between buying a wired one so i can use it on both pc and xbox easily

Heat added, just ordered one for myself

Cool just ordered a couple with some vouchers! If anyone wants a £1 off voucher PM me and I'll send one.

Good price for these. I bought one from GAME a couple of weeks ago for around 22 bucks.

It's a shame Microsoft doesn't let third party manufacturers make wireless controllers eg the SFIV pad :/

Anyway, voted hot.

And a note on Zavvi, I had no problems with my order for one when the deal was the same price a few weeks ago.

Looks like Amazon are now matching this price. You do get Quidco with Play though.

Tempting, I have the spartan controller which came out with Halo 3 though and I don't think I could ever really use a different 360 controller now. It's almost a part of me. :)

Nice one, hadn't thought to use my voucher! Thanks for the reminder.

Its not surprising they struggle to keep these in stock at this price. I replace mine every 6 months or so, so usually stock up on a couple when zavvi have them at this price.

Damm im actually looking for a wired xbox 360 controller instead, anyone know the cheapest place to get one of them so i can use it on my PS3 using a converter.

Awesome deal :)

Hot price, now why on earth can there not be deals on the PS3 Wireless Controller for around this price. I know PS3 fanboys like to scoff at 360 owners for having to pay out for a wireless connection, but seriously owning both consoles it narks me that Sony have the most stupidly overpriced controller out there.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between this one for windows at £17.99 and the other one which just says xbox wired controller £14.99?

Thanks

...this doesn't need a wireless adaptor to connect to the console does it?

One is wired and one is wireless? :p

But if you mean to use it on your PC, then you can plug the wired one straight into usb slot to work whereas you need a usb wireless receiver for the wireless one to work.

They were reduced down to £12.98 or something in GAME in Bluewater last Monday.

The USB wireless gaming receivers are a pain in the ass - they suck power from the usb controller, ******ing up other devices plugged in at the same time... e.g. keyboard and mouse.

Solved it in the end with a separate PCI USB card, just for this thing. I think they've stopped producing them as of about a year ago, presumably easier than dealing with all the technical support and returns!
