Cheers for the heads up. Will go nicely with my console that is coming tomorrow. I can see that I am going to be spending a small fortune now I own a 360 lol, already buying games every day! I guess this is a must have accessory!

£14.99 most stores - good find! HEEAAATT!

OK - Shoot me down in flames if you will but why buy a wireless controller so no trailing leads to trip the kids/cat/etc then think I'll get a play and charge kit so batteries don't run out because I'm wired to the console. :?:

Maybe I'll be regretting this post when my rechargable's constantly run out mid-game and I'm left fuming like a loony.

you could buy a Quick Charge Kit & an extra battery pack if you dont like wires.
when one runs out, just replace with the charged one :)

charge time on Quick Charge = 1hr per battery

For some reason the black batteries are messed up.
The two I have bought die really quick and hold a charge about 5 mins.

That deal only applies when you buy it with another item. It's £14.99 otherwise :whistling:

I have one you could buy if you're interested.

From a play & charge kit I bought that had a DOA battery, only I threw the packaging away before I'd even tried it :?

The charge wire does exactly what it says. So while you may be wired up for a while - once its charged you just unplug it. This saves having to buy batteries and/or having downtime due to your wireless battery going dead.

Its kind of like asking why have a mobile phone if you have to charge it on AC.
