just noticed another post for game where they bought a £1 gift card and availed of the discount!
#4
Yea, I saw this yesterday - as people have said, you need to purchase something else to take advantage of the price.

They also had controllers on offer, and I think the wired headsets, too....
#5
weird that there was a guy in front of me who bought one on its own.. :oS

When there were these WBW deals before I remember just buying a pack of batteries, which is inexpensive.

If I bought 2 would they both end up at 9.99? so toal would be 19.98

At a guess, one at full price £14.99 plus £9.99 for the second one.

Yes the black version has the same offer.

I bought two (one green and one black) together and they were both £9.99 each. I didn't buy anything else with them. So yes, two would be £19.98.
#16
where is the cheapest place to get the batteries on their own?
#17
it's cheaper to buy a hybrio charger with 2 aa batterys from amazon!

But that'd mean you wouldn't be able to have non stop play, there'd come a time where you'd need to charge the batteries when you wanted to play.

Or you could buy two extra rechargables and put them on charge while you're using the fully juiced ones :whistling:

Yeah, but were you to use a plug and charge you may as well just buy a wired controller. Plus rechargable batteries can be used in anything like cd players, tv remotes etc, whereas the plug and charge is solely for the xbox.

Also, you can get 4 battery chargers cheaper than £9.99 anyhow with the many uses.

Slow charge time at 11 hours, but it'll take longer than that for your xbox wireless controller to drain anyway
