Will this work with a PC?
Only if you have the required microsoft USB receiver.

These have been up and down in price: http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B003VD56KC

With the adapter yes.
Unfortunately the play and charge doesn't carry data so you'll need the wireless adapter.

this is good for a new controller

#7

Ordered this a few days ago, arrived today, fab price! Heat added :)
#9
just ordered mine. good timing too as my 2nd controller no longer works
#10
Thought I got a good deal at £27. Bit gutted, but good to see tham coming down in price. Heat added.
#11
Thank you for the advice.

Looks like I might be better waiting for a deal on a wireless controller and receiver rather than purchasing them separately.
#12
nice find op, heat added :)
#13
Thanks op been looking for one of these for sub £25 in time for Christmas.

Been cheaper before, but good to see them coming down in price again. Got this at a similar time last year with the adapter, if you're wanting it for PC gaming, this comes bundled with the official adapter so you save a few £s: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004JU0JSA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00

I've tried all three combinations, here's an overview:
Wireless 360 pad + wireless = too many usb slots / recharging / hassle
360 pad wired = no problems
XBox One Pad + micro USB lead = I prefer it, but the rumble function is unsupported / problematic

I would love to recommend the XBox One pad, but the rumble function is a mess.
If you can live without it's definitely my pad of choice.

Always had a good relationship with Amazon never any problems...Bought some of these the other day for when I have friends over in a £400+ Amazon order and barely any of my items came, complained about it to their customer service team and they just closed my Amazon account. Currently fighting them with a credit card dispute as we speak...

Brilliant price, heat added!

Excellent game pad, probably the best ever produced until the DS4.

Great for PC gaming with the adapter

Saw this the other day, got it for £2 cheaper via flubit

The only problem with these is the dpad is recognized by the driver as a "pov hat". You can't map the dpad to the cursor keys in the settings either.

Since just about no games whatsoever recognize a "pov hat" you end up stuck using a program like xpadder to fix this. Big oversight from microsoft IMO.

Didn't know these were still so expensive. I have 2 brand new unboxed ones that I got with my 360 ages ago. £35 for 2 anyone.....
#22
Where about are you for collecting them ?

You're better off getting this instead if you want to use for PC (8.4% TCB + rakuten pts):

http://www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/gameseek/product/Multijypz6vnbs0c/

It's just the standard xbox 360 wireless controller + the adapter:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000MGVAAQ

The adapter lets you connect up to 4 xbox 360 wireless controllers, I have 2 connected on 64-bit Win 7 Prof without any hassles.

I voted cold. I don't think this is worth it since the Xbox One controller is only £5 more.

Brilliant theory typical Asian, I will get a Xbox one controller and use that on my 360 eh???

Charlie I'm in Liverpool and no there not stolen bud. The Xbox is though....

If we are just adding on pounds for a comparison of a random item that won't work on the specified product. I think I'll add my tuppence: You could add another £797.15 and get the equally useless Ferrari 312P Berlinetta 1:18 scale replica model
