was in my local (ealing) wilkinson this morning and the had oil filled radiators ES123 and halogen heaters stickered at half marked price the rad's were marked at £10-00 so hence £5-00 and the halogens marked at £8-00 hence £4-00 dont know if they had made a mistake as the halogen is shown as £8-00 online, but they never seem to quibble stickered prices in my local store

These halogen heaters in my opinion are dangerous i got two for the lads bedrooms to take the chill off when there up in there rooms and one left it too near his curtains it scorched the curtains badly.Go for oil filled ones much safer.

Kids today eh?
We used to have one of these in our bedroom when it got cold.

Those wires were just wide enough to put a small hand through to teach kids about the danger of heat ... oh, and not to try it again.

And there were no safety devices if it was accidentally knocked over ... other than a 100m sprint in the opposite direction quicker than Linford Christie could ever manage!

I'd suggest that all forms of heating are dangerous if not used with common sense!

Heating of any kind is a waste of money.... After been hit with a massive gas bill a few years ago I decided to put the thermostat on 0...A couple of years on I don't even feel the cold.. When it gets really cold I put another jumper on Simple.... The kids Can't cope with the heat when they stay at friends etc... Turn those thermostatsYou soon get used to it
