A must own album.
#2
A good album but very depressing
#3
Their best by a country mile
#4
One of the greatest albums ever made, shame on you if you don't already own this!
#5
not again...this is about as exciting a deal as the three tins of dog food from tesco for a quid!

I disagree. Radiohead are always labelled as depressing, often (not in this case I'm sure) by people who have never really listened to the music and fully appreciated the lyrics.

I find a lot of this album very uplifting as with much of the band's other stuff.

Lady Gaga is much more depressing :)

I find Radiohead uplifting. Same for the Clapton Album 461 Ocean Boulevard, he sounds so down and out but it's so fulll of promise.

Climbing Up The Walls:whistling:

Easily the most pretentious band in the entire whole of Christendom.

Lyrically ambiguous and musically quite frustrating to listen to.

+1 musical genius.
#11
Their last good album. Essential at this price.
#12
Paranoid Android - classic - Depressing my **** - This album rocks - Anthemic, poignant and class.
#13
I'd like to hear them do a cover of D.I.S.C.O. by Ottawan, then we'd see just how good they are.

You say how pretentious they are while pulling out words and phrases like 'Christendom' and 'lyrically ambiguous' :-D

Pull your head out! If you used a bit of common sense you'd see that the lyrics aren't ambiguous in the slightest. And can you not say something a little more original than calling them pretentious?

OK Computer, talk us through this then.

Please could you stop the noise, I'm trying to get some rest
From all the unborn chicken voices in my head

Even more utter drivel here.

Karma police, arrest this girl
Her Hitler hairdo is
Making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party

I sincerely do believe that most 8 year old children could achieve this amazing level of songwriting prowess.

Anyhow, I don't want to be a post killer - buy the thing if you want, that's entirely your choice.

I hear you .......the worst was when this was voted the greatest album of all time by channel 4 viewers...a few years back......ahead of albums by the beatles, sex pistols pink floyd etc...what a joke .......

Very funny:-D

I like it

Some people don't

Deal with it. - The point is - The CD is cheap (but only worth buying if you want to listen to it):)
#23
Good album, but I think The Bends is their best one.

The Bends, High & Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Nice Dream, Bulletproof, Just, Blackstar, Sulk, Street Spirit... All fantastic songs...
#24
Cheaper at Amazon...

LOL at the various posts saying Radiohead are depressing. Obviously never listened to this album. XFactor = depressing ; Lady Gaga = depressing; Churned out manufactured drip fed pop = depressing. Radiohed = intelligent and diverse

Pretentious: 'Claiming or demanding a position of distinction or merit, especially when unjustified.'

Give me an example of them matching that definition.
#33
2nd best album from a genius band! Lyrics that people can relate to. A theft at this price...heat added!

I disagree with this. Kid A for me was a completely revolutionary album. It's more fluid as an album, is more heartfelt, creative and atmospheric.

P.S. I am a massive OKC fan, though.

P.P.S In my opinion, of course, before anyone gets upset.

I agree, Kid A is a masterpiece. My favourite followed by OKC and In Rainbows.

Er...your statement makes no sense. Clearly you can't even understand a definition when it's right in front of you. Also, do you even know what irony is?

Epic Fail.

ha ha - RH fanboys always make me laugh :w00t:

Anyhow, it clearly obvious that the band are drug users and therefore should not be appraised as such considering their fanbase may consist of minors and the vulnerable.

terrible example to youngsters.
