is this item vastly different to these items at around half the price?
and as mentioned in the OP:
it will almost definitely be cheaper to buy a new printer rather than buy the replacement cartridges when the printer needs feeding, and for that reason I struggle to consider anything other than a cold vote.

i dont know why i bother listing any items when the deal is good and you can get cheap cartridges if you can be bothered to look.

then vote cold ?????

this will be my last listing as i am fed up with the attitude of some people when you spend time and effort to list an item then its slated.

nobody was suggesting your find was not appreciated - but without an indication of where to locate cheap cartridges then this deal is not hot, hence the implication of cold voting.
Olivetti printer deals have been posted here many times before and always fall flat due to the excessive costs of printer food.
Now if somebody could post a deal for cheap Olivetti cartridges, then that would be worthy of hot votes

At least some people give you their reasons for cold votes....many people just vote cold and click onto the next deal....I have seen many (what I thought) great deals get cold votes without rhyme or reason, particularly more expensive items, try posting a high spec computer/laptop and see where that gets you:whistling:

Don't give up....if just one person thinks it is a good deal then you have made a difference.

If you go to the olivetti website, there appears to be drivers for VISTA

The webpage:- http://www.olivetti.com/Site/Public/product.asp?sid=&cid=375&iid=680#

And the self-installing driver file is SW VISTA R.3.58 31.07.07 (the second one down under "supports".

There also seems to be a self-installing driver file for 64bit VISTA

Hope this helps....................:-D
