If my son is 14 and child ages are up to 15, can I just put him down as an adult?
Anyway always said id go back and take the family to see the sunset over the volcano. Recommended !

For some reason you get a reduction for 3rd adult but not for a child . Crazy really
basically if you added 2 children it might give the discount of an adult but its common for all companies to only discount adult rates
it should be fully explained in the small print of a brochure or online booking conditions
It could be they have more of a certain room type left over too eg triples so they want to shift them
also some accommodation providers subsidise larger rooms as it generally means an extra person buying food and drink in the hotel which covers the reduction in the room rate... but that depends on the contract they have with olympic
some get paid per room as booked, sometimes Olympic book all the rooms year in advance at a set rate
and they will drop the price just to recover some funds if things are a bit quite
I used to work as a rep for olympic BUT
it can cause 2 sepearate problems, one which isnt a problem for you but one which can be
it messes up schedules and sales targets of reps though as they get targetted on a percentage of adults coming in. so if there are kids it kind of skews things a little
but its not a major one. logistics wise if you can add a note its a child it may help allocating a room if you have specific requests like lower floor etc, otherwise you may get stuck in a non children friendly room or next to a group of teenagers etc
and they are requests not guarantees so dont moan if you dont get it
when doing room allocations reps want as little stress as possible for the time you are there so they will want to get it right first time so mention requests and the reasons why at that time and hopefully it will be enough notice to accommodate them rather than having to deal with complaints at the welcome meeting from things you bring up in resort that they didnt know in advance from your booking

Beware eating out can be steep especially in the capital, but real bargains are to be found out in the smaller villages, where we had our best food. Again ensure you buy your food for self catering at one of the shops a bit more out of the way as the ones closest and accessible on foot can be very over priced.

If you read the full report then thefts have been taking place in this Hotel. Acknowledge that this problem is not simply contained to Santorini and/or this Hotel, however, when reading this review it somewhat puts you off, no matter of costs. It could be free but for me off putting enough to avoid.
To answer your question, on occasions yes but this means nothing without understanding the full facts about where I like etc. Same with my comments raised earlier!!

yup flights alone are a bargain. its quote common and annoying, for other companies to book these holidays bargains and use the flights to sell other accomodation and charge the customer even more
messes up the hotels availability too as reps are left hunting down missing passengers who dont get on the transfers at the airport
so grab them while you can before they go if you are intertested

Is so overcrowded , you will not find nice Beach ( they are stunning as they look but whater go quick deep and you will find few places with sand)
Lots of Americans, germans etc. At resteurant or attractions you will by treated as animal just leave your money and go.
If you will go to resteurants just look what you eat as your portion of meat mayby was before at neighbor table , Common practice in there if someone order 2 pices of meat and eat just 1 second will comeback to kitchen an will by served for you.
If you have kids this is not so best place to go.
