Siiiiigh....can't decide to get this or a Playbook 64GB.

I don't really want either of them, but you know....soooo cheap.

The best thing to do is to do lots of research. The more research the better. Then, when you have finally decided, they will both be sold out.Problem solved :-)

Just bought this as part of a deal at Jessops. Moved up from a Fuji Finepix. This is a far superior Camera in every way. Takes stunning shots. Great camera - good price. Heat added

EPL2 improved on all the issues of this EPL1 but when the EPL3 came out they discontinued the EPL2 and kept the EPL1 on the market as a budget model. God knows why they didn't keep the EPL2 instead.

Its a very good camera and used within its limits you can get excellent results. Its light has plenty of features ,can go manual or full auto. Great price , heat.

BTW think the image at the top is the EPL2

This is a total bargain. I've just got back from a trip to Florida and the E-PL1 took fantastic pictures. Also bought the Panasonic 45-200mm lens that was also on sale at Argos (same lens mount as this) and the quality and range are hard to beat for the price.

Can I use this camera without buying lenses? Or in this case I will not have a zoom?

Good luck finding one, from what I can tell there is just one in the north west of england, in Barrow.

    Good price though :-)

Quite an old model but still light years ahead of any sub £100 point and shoot camera on market today for image quality

Be warned that once you can change lenses and decide to buy more it becomes an expensive hobby

If you want zoom mate you would be better looking at a bridge camera... with this you would have to buy larger lenses like the panny 45mm - 200mm as stated above your posts..

Got one for the missus, who previously just used compact cameras, and the difference in image quality is fantastic.

I've noticed quite a few nice film cameras and lenses in my local charity shop. Anyone know if there's an adaptor for the PL-1 that would let me fit Canon (film SLR) lenses to it?
