Thanks, my BF bought me an Olympus camera for Christmas but forgot to get me a memory card to go with it! Is this one worth getting? Does anyone know how many photos this would store? Thanks :)

Remember that with xD you need to check compatibility with your model of device and the card size and type (M+ in this case, according to the photo).

Isn't the "H" model the fastest?

Noticed that Olympus has now also changed to the cheaper SD card with their latest models, which will make their cameras more compatible.

Check if the camera comes with a micro-SD adapter whi looks like a little yellow piece of plastic, this allows you to use the far cheaper and more versatile micro-SD cards.

More proof of why you should never buy an Olympus camera with xD - £12.49 for 2Gb storage is awful (but actually quite cheap for xD)!

If Olympus are finally going SD (Fuji made the switch a while back) that'll just leave Sony 'paddling their own canoe' (MemoryStick).

Probably today, yes, but I knowingly bought a C-750 back in 2004 despite it using xD because the camera itself was very competitive - and competitively priced. I'd have preferred it used SD or CF, but even with an overpriced (about £80, ISTR) 256MB xD card, it was a deal. I picked up a couple more 256MB xD cards for about £17 each about two years later... good job, as the largest it can use are the 512MB cards which are somewhat hard to find these days!
