Thanks - I needed a new bathroom scale anyhow - having the added features is a bonus!

Already have a more expensive (and reliable) set of body fat scales. However this is a good deal if you don't.
#5
Good deal but i wont be having one
#6
Good deal.. Off to buy one now and be woefully disapointed at my huge reading!!! :-(

In my experience, these types of scale aren't particularly accurate when measuring the body fat of somebody with broader shoulders and a bit of muscle (even if it's hidden by fat) - anybody know if the handles make this one any more accurate?

I've never tried one of these body fat percentage things because I've always thought them not to be accurate, I am right thinking that?

This is a tempting offer. Although, one of the reviews says it only weighs in kgs or lbs, not stone and lbs.

Too right, I was reading a book on fitness the other day and they emphasized exactly this point, these are not accurate if you want to know your bodyfat. They are ok to get a ballpark figure though.

Great price - but there are some things in life i'm quite happy not to know!!! LOL

Omron are as used by the medical profession. SOME of their kit is clinically validated. I use omron kit and find it accurate. My wife is a nurse so I can compare measurement of some of my equipment with her supplied equipment. Great find, heat added.

Nearly took a punt on it, but seeing as it doesn't allow you to enter any detail of your physique I'm not going to bother. My existing scales give me an idea of body fat percentage, and by the look of the reviews on there this won't make it any more accurate.

I don't trust the body fat readings from my scales, I think they give a vague guess at best!

Good deal - but maybe not that accurate? Tend to find the mechanical ones better. Heat added for those who prefer electrical :)
#15
Does it anywhere say what kind of batteries it needs?

Cheers

It runs off hamster wheel that connects so you burn off the fat and then weigh yourself to have it confirmed afterwards.

No idea but good question. Gone for one anyway as I'm a heavy load and need to do something about it. H & R given

Omron is a good make. Worth checking out!

hot deal, not accurate measurement :(

good savings

I find these sort of scales to be quite innacurate too when calculating body fat etc., tells you one figure one minute and a different the next. I personally wouldn't bother spending £22 when you can get a cheap basic one from supermarkets.
