I saw this a week or two ago and just missed out on the deal. Seems to be back in stock now so might be helpful for some like me.

Ideal for improving upper body strength this 17kg cast iron dumbbell set can be used in the combination that best suits your needs. This dumbbell pack has everything you need in a comprehensive set. It includes 2 x 0.46kg bars with rubber grips, 4 x 0.04kg spinlocks, 8 x 1kg and 4 x 2kg plates.

(The picture online is incorrectly showing a single dumbell of 20kg. You do get two dumbells in this set.)

This set is made to a professional specification and offers better quality for your home gym.

Slightly confused on this. Do you get two actual dumbells or one? I only ask because it says set but shows one...all the others that say set show two...

2 x 0.46kg bars 4 x 0.04kg spinlocks so you would get two dumbells

Yes I was confused too... You do get two bars, 4 spin locks. The picture they show online is the 20kg set I believe. They don't have a picture of this set. It has a plastic bar and spinlocks (hence the total weight of these being 1kg) but the reviews are all solid for this and the bar holds up well the extra weight.

I remember when these sets were 20KG. They've done it with the cheese and now dumbbells.

How much weight did you want to add to it? 50kg?

For the price, even though the bar is plastic, you can't go wrong.

Thanks OP

a plastic bar is actually imo much better for your grip, and helps prevent blistering etc if you're not using gloves.

i was buying them for the bars and was gonna sell the weights with a set of non spinlock bars, was gonna put 30kg on them, don't know how much they could hold, but my main problem is that i want them matching my other spinlock bars and i don't like the plastic feel, still a great deal for £15,just not for me.

So this set is not a trigrip type?

Only seems to ever last an hour these weight deals. suppose it's still less than £1/kg which is a bargain without the bars really.
