Nice remote but standard price?

Dated remote.

Dated remote.

it's brand new! remote is brilliant - especially at that price.

very smart!

I used to find their remotes great , once you learn to program any key to do almost anything.

Might as well either get a cheapy URC from Lidl or Aldi for about £5-8, or a far more functional Logitech Harmony 525 from Richer Sounds for £30. Cold.

Logitech Harmony range = the almost certain answer, what WAS the question ?

Dated as in technologically, the Harmony remotes with the software database and text definable keys are far better and intuitive.

I have both a Harmony 650 and one of these. I use this for video and the Harmony for Audio.
Why? - Well the buttons have a much better feel on this that the harmony and they are located just where I want them. This also feels more solid to me.
Given this is £22 and the harmony £60, for those on a budget this is a great remote.
I have to agree with cicobuff though, setting up the remote on the PC is the way to go.

Well for me personally, with a complicated Home Cinema setup, nothing else suffices. The problems with any of the One For All Remotes I find is when you have to define a function to a random button, then you are required to have a memory of an elephant to remember it, whereas at least with the Harmony you can have clearly definable labels in the display to assign to button functionality, far more intuitive.

I have to admit though, owning both a Harmony 555 and 785 some of the buttons, particularly the plastic ones feel a little light.

If you only have 5 devices to control, I still would feel that shopping around the £25 would be better spent on a Harmony 515

I have the Harmony 515 and am getting annoyed with the ultra slow volume control and some other buttons responding slowly (when skipping commercials), tried the speed to 100 and the number from 3 to 4 but then they skip two channels on one button press
