Self assembly bird table.

Just £8.99.

I have the exact same one, cost me a fair bit more.

Identical one retails in Argos for a wopping £29.99 - see below.

http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001801&langId=-1&searchTerms=bird+table&Submit=GO+%3E

Image is off Amazon, but it's identical to the one I saw.

If you don't have a B & M local, there's the same table at Home Bargains for a quid more.

It takes a couple of weeks for them to spot it, trust it, and then to keep coming back.

Trust me, you'll be keeping them off with a barge pole.

These also attract rats like.... rat magnets. Doesn't bother me at all, but does some people. My dad is obsessed with picking them off with a sniper air rifle while I simultaneously try to scare them away whenever I'm there.

Some people would also say it interferes with nature (the birds may become completely reliant on human feeding, particularly if you use seed type food etc. that are not normally available at certain times of year).

On that note though, I'll say it's cheep!

Also instore or online at Robert Dyas at £9.99: http://www.robertdyas.co.uk/P~145236~Gardman+Self+Assembly+Bird+Table

I bought one for my mother some years ago and it is OK. But it is worth putting a few extra nails in when assembling. In particular, ensure that the roof is properly fixed as it can warp and lift a little. If used on a lawn or soft ground, it might be helpful to drive some short pegs (e.g. offcuts of treated roof batten) into the ground and fix the table legs to these.

And don't forget: "tits like coconuts", men cry - when feeding British birds they spy!
